php-svg-lib - SVG file parsing / rendering library

  •        63

The main purpose of this lib is to rasterize SVG to a surface which can be an image or a PDF for example, through a \Svg\Surface PHP interface. This project was initialized by the need to render SVG documents inside PDF files for the DomPdf project.

AngleSharp - The ultimate angle brackets parser library parsing HTML5, MathML, SVG and CSS to construct a DOM based on the official W3C specifications

  •    CSharp

AngleSharp is a .NET library that gives you the ability to parse angle bracket based hyper-texts like HTML, SVG, and MathML. XML without validation is also supported by the library. An important aspect of AngleSharp is that CSS can also be parsed. The included parser is built upon the official W3C specification. This produces a perfectly portable HTML5 DOM representation of the given source code and ensures compatibility with results in evergreen browsers. Also standard DOM features such as querySelector or querySelectorAll work for tree traversal.

Apache Batik - The Apache Foundation’s Java-based toolkit for SVG generation and manipulation

  •    Java

Batik is a Java based toolkit for applications which handle images in the Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format for various purposes, such as viewing, generation or manipulation. The project's ambition is to give developers a set of core modules which can be used together or individually to support specific SVG solutions. Examples of modules are an SVG parser, an SVG generator and an SVG DOM implementation.

SwiftSVG - A simple, performant, and lightweight SVG parser

  •    Swift

SwiftSVG is not meant to be a a full SVG parser. The library supports the most common use cases of flat, solid color SVG elements. It supports grouping and transformations and can parse all path and shape elements. The best use case for SwiftSVG is for flat icons that you may want to theme at runtime and have good control over. Think icons for your app, especially if you offer light and dark themes. The library can handle complex paths, and more importantly can handle them quickly, so you can use it to display many SVGs, just not every single use case. See the complex example in the examples app.

PocketSVG - Easily convert your SVG files into CGPaths, CAShapeLayers, and UIBezierPaths

  •    Objective-C++

A simple toolkit for displaying and manipulating SVGs on iOS and macOS in a performant manner. The goal of this project is not to be a fully compliant SVG parser/renderer. But rather to use SVG as a format for serializing CG/UIPaths, meaning it only supports SVG features that can be represented by CG/UIPaths.

JAMSVGImage - Display resolution independent SVGs in iOS.

  •    Objective-C

A set of classes for parsing and rendering resolution-independent SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files in your iOS application. The nerdy details: JAMSVGImage parses SVG files and transforms all 'path' elements into a collection of stylized UIBezierPath objects which are rendered (at any scale) at the device's native resolution at runtime. SVG files are typically produced with 2D drawing applications such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape.

displacy - :boom: displaCy.js: An open-source NLP visualiser for the modern web

  •    Javascript

⚠️ As of v2.0.0, the displaCy visualizers are now integrated into the core library. See here for more details on how to visualize a Doc object from within spaCy. We're also working on a new suite of tools for serving and testing spaCy models. The code of the standalone visualizers will still be available on GitHub, just not actively maintained. displaCy.js is a modern and service-independent visualisation library. We hope this makes it easy to compare different services, and explore your own in-house models. If you're using spaCy's syntactic parser, displaCy should be part of your regular workflow. Because spaCy's parser is statistical, it's often hard to predict how it will analyse a given sentence. Using displaCy, you can simply try and see. You can also share the page for discussion with your team, or save the SVG to use elsewhere. If you're developing your own model, you can run the service yourself — it's 100% open source.

SVGInjector - Fast, caching, dynamic inline SVG DOM injection library

  •    Javascript

A fast, caching, dynamic inline SVG DOM injection library. Developed by Waybury for use in iconic.js, part of the Iconic icon system. There are a number of ways to use SVG on a page (object, embed, iframe, img, CSS background-image) but to unlock the full potential of SVG, including full element-level CSS styling and evaluation of embedded JavaScript, the full SVG markup must be included directly in the DOM.
