pyflow - Fast, accurate and easy to run dense optical flow with python wrapper

  •        253

Python wrapper for Ce Liu's C++ implementation of Coarse2Fine Optical Flow. This is super fast and accurate optical flow method based on Coarse2Fine warping method from Thomas Brox. This python wrapper has minimal dependencies, and it also eliminates the need for C++ OpenCV library. For real time performance, one can additionally resize the images to a smaller size. This wrapper code was developed as part of our CVPR 2017 paper on Unsupervised Learning using unlabeled videos. Github repository for our CVPR 17 paper is here.

vpp - Video++, a C++14 high performance video and image processing library.

  •    C++

The generic container imageNd<V, N> represents a dense N-dimensional rectangle set of pixels with values of type V. For convenience, image1d, image2d, image3d are respectively aliases to imageNd<V, 1>, imageNd<V, 2>, and imageNd<V, 3>. These types provide accesses to the pixel buffer and to other piece of information useful to process the image. In contrast to std::vector, assigning an image to the other does not copy the data, but share them so no accidental expensive deep copy happen.

supervision-by-registration - Supervision-by-Registration: An Unsupervised Approach to Improve the Precision of Facial Landmark Detectors

  •    Python

We propose a method to find facial landmarks (e.g. corner of eyes, corner of mouth, tip of nose, etc) more precisely. Our method utilizes the fact that objects move smoothly in a video sequence (i.e. optical flow registration) to improve an existing facial landmark detector. The key novelty is that no additional human annotations are necessary to improve the detector, hence it is an “unsupervised approach”. See the README in cache_data.

noflo - Flow-based programming for JavaScript

  •    CoffeeScript

In computer science, flow-based programming (FBP) is a programming paradigm that defines applications as networks of "black box" processes, which exchange data across predefined connections by message passing, where the connections are specified externally to the processes. These black box processes can be reconnected endlessly to form different applications without having to be changed internally. FBP is thus naturally component-oriented. This is the Unix philosophy: Write programs that do one thing and do it well. Write programs to work together. Write programs to handle text streams, because that is a universal interface.

PyCNN - Image Processing with Cellular Neural Networks in Python

  •    Python

Cellular Neural Networks (CNN) [wikipedia] [paper] are a parallel computing paradigm that was first proposed in 1988. Cellular neural networks are similar to neural networks, with the difference that communication is allowed only between neighboring units. Image Processing is one of its applications. CNN processors were designed to perform image processing; specifically, the original application of CNN processors was to perform real-time ultra-high frame-rate (>10,000 frame/s) processing unachievable by digital processors. This python library is the implementation of CNN for the application of Image Processing.

flow-remove-types - 🚿 Removes Flow type annotations from JavaScript files with speed and simplicity

  •    Javascript

Turn your JavaScript with Flow type annotations into standard JavaScript in an instant with no configuration and minimal setup. Flow provides static type checking to JavaScript which can both help find and detect bugs long before code is deployed and can make code easier to read and more self-documenting. The Flow tool itself only reads and analyzes code. Running code with Flow type annotations requires first removing the annotations which are non-standard JavaScript. Typically this is done via adding a plugin to your Babel configuration, however Babel may be overkill if you're only targetting modern versions of Node.js or just not using the modern ES2015 features that may not be in every browser.

glb-director - GitHub Load Balancer Director and supporting tooling.

  •    C

The GitHub Load Balancer (GLB) Director is a set of components that provide a scalable set of stateless Layer 4 load balancer servers capable of line rate packet processing in bare metal datacenter environments, and is used in production to serve all traffic from GitHub's datacenters. GLB Director is designed to be used in datacenter environments where multiple servers can announce the same IP address via BGP and have network routers shard traffic amongst those servers using ECMP routing. While ECMP shards connections per-flow using consistent hashing, addition or removal of nodes will generally cause some disruption to traffic as state isn't stored for each flow. A split L4/L7 design is typically used to allow the L4 servers to redistribute these flows back to a consistent server in a flow-aware manner. GLB Director implements the L4 (director) tier of a split L4/L7 load balancer design.
