utPLSQL version 3 is a complete rewrite of utPLSQL v2 from scratch. Version 2 still supports older versions of Oracle that are no longer available. The community that had developed on GitHub decided that a new internal architecture was needed, from that version 3 was born. Published releases are available for download on the utPLSQL GitHub Releases Page.
Package ora implements an Oracle database driver. An Oracle database may be accessed through the database/sql package or through the ora package directly. database/sql offers connection pooling, thread safety, a consistent API to multiple database technologies and a common set of Go types. The ora package offers additional features including pointers, slices, nullable types, numerics of various sizes, Oracle-specific types, Go return type configuration, and Oracle abstractions such as environment, server and session.
Oracle PL/SQL Code Editor. Allows you to connect to any Oracle Database, browse the database objects and edit and debug PL/SQL code with syntax highlighting. The main focus is for it to be some kind of a PL/SQL IDE, free to download, use, modify!
In the Oracle database there are two PL/SQL APIs to send mails: UTL_SMTP and UTL_MAIL. But there is no package which is able to retrieve messages from a mailbox on a server. The here provided package MAIL_CLIENT closes this gap.
iSQL-Viewer is JDBC compliant database front end. It implements across multiple platforms features of the JDBC API. It does everything through a single interface. iSQL-Viewer works with most database platforms, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and Informix.
Free multi-platform database tool for developers, SQL programmers, database administrators and analysts. Supports any database which has JDBC driver (which basically means - ANY database). EE version also supports non-JDBC datasources (WMI, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis). You can download prebuilt binaries from official web site or directly from GitHub releases.
Java DB is Sun's supported distribution of the open source Apache Derby 100% Java technology database. It is fully transactional, secure, easy-to-use, standards-based — SQL, JDBC API, and Java EE — yet small, only 2.5 MB.
Laravel-OCI8 is an Oracle Database Driver package for Laravel. Laravel-OCI8 is an extension of Illuminate/Database that uses OCI8 extension to communicate with Oracle. Thanks to @taylorotwell. Finally you can optionally publish a configuration file by running the following Artisan command. If config file is not publish, the package will automatically use what is declared on your .env file database configuration.
usql is a universal command-line interface for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQLite3, Microsoft SQL Server, and other databases. The below is a demonstration using usql with xo's booktest simple test database, showcasing the release version v0.5.0. In the demonstration, usql connects to a PostgreSQL database, executes some queries, with variable interpolation, connects to a SQLite3 database file, and does some more queries, before then connecting to a Microsoft SQL database and ending the session.
PL/JSON is a generic JSON object written in PL/SQL. Using PL/SQL object syntax, users instantiate a JSON objects and then add members, arrays and additional JSON objects. This object type can store JSON data, in Oracle, persistently.
Superset is fast, lightweight, intuitive, and loaded with options that make it easy for users of all skill sets to explore and visualize their data, from simple line charts to highly detailed geospatial charts. It easily integrates your data, using either our simple no-code viz builder or state of the art SQL IDE. Superset can query data from any SQL-speaking datastore or data engine (e.g. Presto or Athena) that has a Python DB-API driver and a SQLAlchemy dialect.
This is a set of PLSQL packages for the Oracle database which provide acess to the OS shell and the file system from SQL and PL/SQL. The packages provide operations on file handles (delete, create, move, copy) as well as the execution of shell commands.
Chinook is a sample database available for SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc. It can be created by running a single SQL script. Chinook database is an alternative to the Northwind database, being ideal for demos and testing ORM tools targeting single and multiple database servers.
The Microsoft Drivers for PHP for SQL Server are PHP extensions that allow for the reading and writing of SQL Server data from within PHP scripts. The SQLSRV extension provides a procedural interface while the PDO_SQLSRV extension implements PDO for accessing data in all editions of SQL Server 2008 R2 and later (including Azure SQL DB). These drivers rely on the Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server to handle the low-level communication with SQL Server. This release contains the SQLSRV and PDO_SQLSRV drivers for PHP 7 with improvements on both drivers and some limitations (see Limitations below for details). Upcoming release(s) will contain more functionality, bug fixes, and more (see Plans below for more details).
Oracle enhanced ActiveRecord adapter provides Oracle database access from Ruby on Rails applications. Oracle enhanced adapter can be used from Ruby on Rails versions between 2.3.x and 5.2 and it is working with Oracle database versions from 10g to 12c. where instead of 1.6.0 you can specify any other desired version. It is recommended to specify version with ~> which means that use specified version or later patch versions (in this example any later 1.6.x version but not 1.7.x version). Oracle enhanced adapter maintains API backwards compatibility during patch version upgrades and therefore it is safe to always upgrade to latest patch version.
Oracle, ODBC, DB2-CLI Template Library (OTL). Provides C++ stream like interface to relational databases (SQL), like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Interbase, etc. Multi-database, multi-platform, portable, high performance.
PL/JSON provides packages and APIs for dealing with JSON formatted data within PL/SQL code. General information about JSON is available at http://www.json.org. All pljson types and packages start with 'PLJSON'. In earlier releases they started with 'JSON', but this conflicted with new native json support in Oracle 12c so they were renamed to start with PLJSON, However, during installation we create synonyms that start with JSON (e.g. JSON_LIST is synonym for PLJSON_LIST).
