rethink-app - DNS over HTTPS / DNS over Tor / DNSCrypt client, firewall, and connection tracker for Android

  •    Kotlin

An OpenSnitch-inspired firewall and network monitor + a pi-hole-inspired DNS over HTTPS client with blocklists. In other words, RethinkDNS has two primary modes, DNS and Firewall. The DNS mode routes all DNS traffic generated by apps to one of two DNS over HTTPS resolvers (Cloudflare and RethinkDNS). The Firewall mode lets the user deny internet-access to entire applications based on events like screen-on / screen-off, app-foreground / app-background, connected to unmetered-connection / metered-connection / always; or based on play-store defined categories like Social, Games, Utility, Productivity; or additionally, based on user-defined blacklists.

Raspberry-Pi - Raspberry Pi A to Z List

Raspberry Pi A to Z List Basics Raspberry Pi The Raspberry Pi was originally designed for educational purposes to use in schools and universities, and to make class and study more interesting. Unfortunately, the practical use of the Raspberry Pi or a comparable single-board computer in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is still in its infancy. Listening to the topic, you will find only a few examples showing the use of the Raspberry Pi in school, in education or in study. The following tasks and exercises should help a little here. They are suitable for self-study or as a source for teachers and faculty to build their own Raspberry Pi workshop. The tasks also include exemplary ready-made solutions. 1. Getting Started: Tasks and Exercises with Raspberry Pi The following tasks and exercises are suitable for beginners who have not yet come into contact with the Raspberry Pi. The solutions are also interesting for those who already know the Raspberry Pi and have worked with it. The solutions are part of standard tasks that have to be done around the Raspberry Pi every now and then.

turing-pi-cluster - Turing Pi cluster configuration for Raspberry Pi Compute Modules

  •    HTML

You might also be interested in another Raspberry-Pi cluster I've maintained for years, the Raspberry Pi Dramble, which is a Kubernetes Pi cluster in my basement that hosts www.pidramble.com. Other models of Raspberry Pi and Compute Modules may or may not work, but the main thing you need is a cluster with at least 7 GB of RAM and at least 12 available CPU cores (every current Pi has 4 CPU cores), otherwise not all of the software will be able to run well.

raspberry-pi-os - Learning operating system development using Linux kernel and Raspberry Pi

  •    C

This repository contains a step-by-step guide that teaches how to create a simple operating system (OS) kernel from scratch. I call this OS Raspberry Pi OS or just RPi OS. The RPi OS source code is largely based on Linux kernel, but the OS has very limited functionality and supports only Raspberry PI 3. Each lesson is designed in such a way that it first explains how some kernel feature is implemented in the RPi OS, and then it tries to demonstrate how the same functionality works in the Linux kernel. Each lesson has a corresponding folder in the src directory, which contains a snapshot of the OS source code at the time when the lesson had just been completed. This allows the introduction of new concepts gracefully and helps readers to follow the evolution of the RPi OS. Understanding this guide doesn't require any specific OS development skills.

flutter-pi - A light-weight Flutter Engine Embedder for Raspberry Pi that runs without X.

  •    C

A light-weight Flutter Engine Embedder for Raspberry Pi. Inspired by https://github.com/chinmaygarde/flutter_from_scratch. Flutter-pi also runs without X11, so you don't need to boot into Raspbian Desktop & have X11 and LXDE load up; just boot into the command-line. You can now theoretically run every flutter app you want using flutter-pi, including apps using packages & plugins, just that you'd have to build the platform side of the plugins you'd like to use yourself.

pi-apps - Raspberry Pi App Store for Open Source Projects

  •    Shell

The most popular app store for Raspberry Pi computers. 100% open-source bash scripts (including the GUI). Let's be honest: Linux is harder to master than Windows. Sometimes it's not user-friendly, and following an outdated tutorial may break your Raspberry Pi's operating system. There is no centralized software repository, except for the apt repositories which lack many desktop applications. Surely there is a better way! There is. Introducing Pi-Apps, an expanding, well-maintained collection of app installation-scripts that you can run with one click.

Demo and explanatory blog post. In the time-honored tradition of taking yet another noun and making .js file out of it, I proudly present black-hole.js, which uses a numerical ordinary differential equation solver from numeric.js, and some nice WebGL utilities from glfx.js, to render the gravitational lensing of a black hole.

vim-easyclip - Simplified clipboard functionality for Vim

  •    Vim

EasyClip is a plugin for Vim which contains a collection of clipboard related functionality with the goal of making using the clipboard in Vim simpler and more intuitive without losing any of its power. By default, Vim's built-in delete operator will yank the deleted text in addition to just deleting it. This works great when you want to cut text and paste it somewhere else, but in many other cases it can make things more difficult. For example, if you want to make some tiny edit to fix formatting after cutting some text, you either have to have had the foresight to use a named register, or specify the black hole register explicitly to do your formatting. This plugin solves that problem by redirecting all change and delete operations to the black hole register and introducing a new operator, 'cut' (by default this is mapped to the m key for 'move').
