The Interactive Connectivity Establishment (ICE) protocol combines various NAT traversal utilities such as the STUN and TURN protocols in order to offer a powerful mechanism that allows Offer/Answer based protocols such as SIP and XMPP to traverse NATs. This project provides a Java implementation of the ICE protocol that would be usable by both SIP and XMPP applications. Reliable p2p network connections in Rust with NAT traversal. One of the most needed libraries for any server-less, decentralised project. This library will allow p2p networks to establish and maintain a number of connections in a group when informed by users of the library. As connections are made they are passed up and the user can select which connections to maintain or drop. The library has a bootstrap handler which will attempt to reconnect to any previous "direct connected" nodes.
Python p2p chat client/server with built-in NAT traversal (UDP hole punching). I've written an article about the detailed implementation (in Chinese). The number 100 is used to match clients, you can choose any number you like but only clients with the same number will be linked by server. If two clients get linked, two people can chat by typing in terminal, and once you hit <ENTER> your partner will see your message in his terminal. Encoding is a known issue since I didn't pay much effort on making this tool perfect, but as long as you type English it will be fine.
LibNAT: A cross platform library for Unix and Win32 operating systems that will offer Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal for routers that support UPnP. LibNat will support port forwarding and the retrieval of the public IP address of the router.

Terraform module which creates VPC resources on AWS. By default this module will provision new Elastic IPs for the VPC's NAT Gateways. This means that when creating a new VPC, new IPs are allocated, and when that VPC is destroyed those IPs are released. Sometimes it is handy to keep the same IPs even after the VPC is destroyed and re-created. To that end, it is possible to assign existing IPs to the NAT Gateways. This prevents the destruction of the VPC from releasing those IPs, while making it possible that a re-created VPC uses the same IPs.
