android-go - The android-go project provides a platform for writing native Android apps in Go programming language

  •    Go

The android-go project aims to provide a platform (namely an SDK) for writing native Android apps in Go programming language. All things here were designed to be less coupled as possible, thus maintaining a great level of flexibility while keeping things simple and easy to use. The approach and tools are different from gomobile, please distinguish them apart. ❗️Important! Please see cmd/android-project utility that replaces the original android from SDK that has been stripped in latest SDK releases. All example Makefiles were updated, I advise you to do the same rather than stick to old SDK versions.

appjs-deskshell - SDK to build desktop apps using HTML5/CSS/JS for frontend and server script for backend

  •    NSIS

Deskshell is a SDK that provides a shell (as in egg shell) around web applications so that they can run on the desktop. It gives you a modern HTML5 / CSS / JS frontend for your user interface, but then allows full backend functionality written in popular server scripting languages that anyone can pick up like node or php (more choices coming soon). This makes it possible to read and write directly to disk, access databases, communicate with servers and solve the task at hand. We are a very diverse community that welcomes people who have english as a second language. We are open and welcoming to new people both experienced super hackers and newbies alike. We would love this project to be your first accepted commit to an open source project. There are also many things that are not strictly coding that you can do, maybe you can write an example app, improve our documentation, answer questions on the forums or write a tutorial. Mostly just have fun making apps and when you see something that could be better have a go at improving it and then share it with the community.

working-with-go - A set of example golang code to start learning Go

  •    Go

Working with Go is a set of example programs in Go (golang) to get an experienced programmer familiar with Go. The Go language is often referred to as golang to help searches. This initially started out as a full fledged book, but I found the real value was in all the examples; the text and descriptions were simple enough to include in the code as comments. Also I think the descriptions explain better in context of the code.

lambda-refarch-mobilebackend - Serverless Reference Architecture for creating a Mobile Backend

  •    Objective-C

The Mobile Backend reference architecture (diagram) demonstrates how to use AWS Lambda along with other services to build a serverless backend for a mobile application. The specific example application provided in this repository enables users to upload photos and notes using Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon API Gateway respectively. The notes are stored in Amazon DynamoDB, and are processed asynchronously using DynamoDB streams and a Lambda function to add them to an Amazon CloudSearch domain. In addition to the source code for the Lambda functions, this repository also contains a prototype iOS application that provides examples for how to use the AWS Mobile SDK for iOS to interface with the backend resources defined in the architecture. To run the full example application, you must first deploy the backend resources, and then compile and run the example iOS application.
