open-event-android - Open Event Android App Generator https://github

  •    Java

The Open Event Android project consists of two components. The App Generator is a web application that is hosted on a server and generates an event Android app from a zip with JSON and binary files (examples here) or through an API. The second component we are developing in the project is a generic Android app - the output of the app generator. The mobile app can be installed on any Android device for browsing information about the event. Updates can be made automatically through API endpoint connections from an online source (e.g. server), which needs to defined in the provided event zip with the JSON files. The Android app has a standard configuration file, that sets the details of the app (e.g. color scheme, logo of event, link to JSON app data). A) A standard configuration file, that sets the details of the app (e.g. color scheme, logo of event, link to JSON app data). A sample of the JSON format is maintained in the Open Event Repository.

NativeScript - Build native iOS and Android apps using JavaScript

  •    Typescript

NativeScript is a framework for building native iOS and Android apps using JavaScript and CSS. It renders UIs with the native platform’s rendering engine, no WebViews, resulting in native-like performance and UX. It provides a best-of-both-worlds development experience, its cross-platform JavaScript modules give you the convenience of writing iOS and Android apps from a single JavaScript codebase, while its runtimes gives you the power of accessing native APIs, SDKs, and frameworks.

  •    Javascript

The LaunchMyApp.js file is brought in automatically. Note for iOS: there was a bug in CLI which caused an error in your *-Info.plist. Please manually remove the blank line and whitespace (if any) from NSMainNibFile and NSMainNibFile~ipad (or your app won't start at all).

mobile - The mobile vault (iOS, Android, and UWP).

  •    CSharp

The Bitwarden mobile application is written in C# with Xamarin Android, Xamarin iOS, UWP, and Xamarin Forms. By default the app is targeting the production API. If you are running the Core API locally, you'll need to switch the app to target your local instance. Open src/App/Utilities/ApiHttpClient.cs and src/App/Utilities/IdentityHttpClient.cs and set the BaseAddress to your local API endpoints (ex. new Uri("http://localhost:5000")). Alternatively, you can also adjust the environment endpoints from the environment settings page on the home screen of the app (log out).

gulps - Gulps is an open source app for iOS and Apple Watch that lets you keep track of your daily water consumption

  •    Swift

We believe in open software, that's why we shared Gulp's codebase from the start. However, some bad actors decided to take the code and republish the same app as is, putting a price tag on it. As much as we would love to keep adding new features in conjunction with the new iOS features released every year, we can't afford to fuel this kind of behaviour. This is why the public repository is now read only and it will no longer be updated. We'd also like to thank everyone that contributed in these years, your help was deeply appreciated.

talon-for-twitter-android - The Material Design version of my popular Android Talon for Twitter app, 100% open-source

  •    Java

This is the complete version of the Twitter client that I created for Android. It is 100% open source, the only thing that you will have to do plug in is your own API keys. I am lucky enough to say that, as a paid app, Talon has perched itself at the top of the top paid social apps list since it's release in 2014. It has amassed 100,000+ downloads while holding a 4.6 star rating on the Play Store. This app is one of the more successful apps I have ever made and I am open sourcing it as a "thank you" to everyone that has supported my work over the years! It works great and I'm proud to say that it can probably be considered one of the most popular third party Twitter apps.

calabash-ios - Calabash for iOS

  •    Ruby

After delivering support for the final releases of iOS 11 and Android 8 operating systems, Microsoft will discontinue our contributions to developing Calabash, the open-source mobile app testing tool. We hope that the community will continue to fully adopt and maintain it. As part of our transition on the development of Calabash, we've provided an overview of mobile app UI and end-to-end testing frameworks as a starting point for teams who are looking to re-evaluate their testing strategy. Please see our Mobile App Testing Frameworks Overview document. Calabash is an automated testing technology for Android and iOS native and hybrid applications.

angular-seed-advanced - Advanced Angular seed project with support for ngrx/store, ngrx/effects, ngx-translate, angulartics2, lodash, NativeScript (*native* mobile), Electron (Mac, Windows and Linux desktop) and more

  •    TypeScript

Please read this notice first before continuing. Advice: If your project is intended to target a single platform (i.e, web only), then angular-seed is likely more than suitable for your needs. However if your project goals are to target multiple platforms (web, native mobile and native desktop), with powerful out of the box library support and highly configurable/flexible testing options, then you might want to keep reading.
