Flutter plugin to work with beacons. Supports Android API 16+ and iOS 8+. Note: The plugin is written in Swift for iOS. There is a known issue for integrating swift plugin into Flutter project using the Objective-C template. Follow the instructions from Flutter#16049 to resolve the issue (Cocoapods 1.5+ is mandatory).

iBeacon support for React Native. The API is very similar to the CoreLocation Objective-C one with the only major difference that regions are plain JavaScript objects. Beacons don't work in the iOS simulator. This module supports all iBeacon-compatible devices. Personally, I had the best experience with Estimote beacons, but all devices that support the iBeacon specification should work.

This iOS SDK can be used to update the settings of multiple Estimote beacons at once. You no longer need to connect to each beacon individually. Instead, you use Estimote Cloud to queue ‘pending settings’ on your beacons. Then, your iOS app equipped with this SDK ( see Bulk Updater section) can propagate those settings the moment it encounters the beacons. This also means that, once you deploy the beacons, users of your app can propagate the settings by simply being around the beacons. If you simply need to change the settings (or apply ‘pending settings’) of the nearby Estimote beacons, get Estimote iOS app. For a single beacon or a few of them, this will be the fastest method.

HiBeacons - An iBeacons example app for iOS 10, with Apple Watch (watchOS 3

HiBeacons is a fully functional demo app for the iBeacons API in iOS 10, updated for Swift 3. The app can be used to demonstrate beacon region monitoring, advertising and ranging, simply by toggling on/off three switches in the UI, or the accompanying Apple Watch app. The apps implement a basic interface for starting all the operations from the iPhone and the Apple Watch, but the state of the various beacon operation can only be seen in the phone. (The watch app acts as a simple* remote).

Eddystone is a protocol specification that defines a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) message format for proximity beacon messages. It describes several different frame types that may be used individually or in combinations to create beacons that can be used for a variety of applications.Announced in April 2016, Eddystone-EID (Ephemeral ID) is a new frame type that defines a cryptographically secure method of configuring a beacon to broadcast information that only authorized people may decrypt. It includes support for a secure transmission of the TLM (Telemetry) information.
