swizzin - A simple, modular seedbox solution

  •        574

Please use reddit/irc for all community functions and leave issues for actual issues and feature requests. Box has been revamped to reduce and consolidate the amount of commands you need to remember to manage your seedbox. More on this below. In addition to that, additional addon packages can be installed during installation. No need to wait until the installer finishes! I may even add an automated installer hooks in the future.

Jackett - API Support for your favorite torrent trackers.

  •    CSharp

This project is a new fork and is recruiting development help. If you are able to help out please contact us. Jackett works as a proxy server: it translates queries from apps (Sonarr, Radarr, SickRage, CouchPotato, Mylar, DuckieTV, etc) into tracker-site-specific http queries, parses the html response, then sends results back to the requesting software. This allows for getting recent uploads (like RSS) and performing searches. Jackett is a single repository of maintained indexer scraping & translation logic - removing the burden from other apps.

seedbox-from-scratch - Creating a seedbox on a Linux server

  •    Javascript

You need to have a "blank" server installation, if you have a Kimsufi, just do a "reinstall" on it, using Ubuntu Server 12.04. After that access your box using a SSH client, like PuTTY. DO NOT install this script on a non OVH Host. It is doable, but you'll have to know Linux to solve some problems.

ptf - The Penetration Testers Framework (PTF) is a way for modular support for up-to-date tools.

  •    Python

The PenTesters Framework (PTF) is a Python script designed for Debian/Ubuntu/ArchLinux based distributions to create a similar and familiar distribution for Penetration Testing. As pentesters, we've been accustom to the /pentest/ directories or our own toolsets that we want to keep up-to-date all of the time. We have those "go to" tools that we use on a regular basis, and using the latest and greatest is important. PTF attempts to install all of your penetration testing tools (latest and greatest), compile them, build them, and make it so that you can install/update your distribution on any machine. Everything is organized in a fashion that is cohesive to the Penetration Testing Execution Standard (PTES) and eliminates a lot of things that are hardly used. PTF simplifies installation and packaging and creates an entire pentest framework for you. Since this is a framework, you can configure and add as you see fit. We commonly see internally developed repos that you can use as well as part of this framework. It's all up to you.

elasticsearch-reindex - Simple re-indexing

  •    Java

Note: This script will build and install the plugin assuming elasticsearch is found in /usr/share/elasticsearch. The script will call 'sudo' on the install part, so the script should be run as a user with sudo privileges. Since maven will be used to build the plugin, it requires maven to be installed, which can be installed with the command below on a debian/ubuntu system. This refeeds all documents in index 'indexold' with type 'typeold' into the index 'indexnew' with type 'typenew'. But only documents matching the specified filter will be refeeded. The internal Java API will be used which should be efficient. In this example, the term filter is used to limit the documents that will be reindexed, you can leave out the filter to copy all documents to the new index.

digitalocean-debian-to-arch - Script to convert a Debian installation on DigitalOcean to Arch Linux

  •    Shell

DigitalOcean deprecated Arch Linux a while back because it was relatively difficult to support due to the rolling updates. I wrote this script to bring it back! This script downloads a bootstrap Arch Linux image, updates it to the latest version, then overwrites the host operating system with it. Create a new Debian 9.x droplet (either 32-bit or 64-bit is fine).

synthesize - Easy installer for Graphite and StatsD

  •    Python

Installing Graphite doesn't have to be difficult. The install script in synthesize is designed to make it brain-dead easy to install Graphite and related services onto a modern Linux distribution. Synthesize is built to run on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. It will not run on other Ubuntu releases or Linux distributions. The goal of this project is not to become an automation alternative to modern configuration management utilities (e.g. Chef or Puppet), but rather, to make it as easy as possible for the beginner Graphite user to get started and familiar with the project without having to learn a suite of other automation and/or infrastructure-related projects.

ansible-role-nginx - Ansible Role - Nginx

  •

Installs Nginx on RedHat/CentOS, Debian/Ubuntu, Archlinux, FreeBSD or OpenBSD servers. This role installs and configures the latest version of Nginx from the Nginx yum repository (on RedHat-based systems), apt (on Debian-based systems), pacman (Archlinux), pkgng (on FreeBSD systems) or pkg_add (on OpenBSD systems). You will likely need to do extra setup work after this role has installed Nginx, like adding your own [virtualhost].conf file inside /etc/nginx/conf.d/, describing the location and options to use for your particular website.

nginx_ensite - A script to enable or disable a site in nginx.

  •    Shell

This is a shell (Bash) script that replicates for nginx the Debian a2ensite and a2dissite for enabling and disabling sites as virtual hosts in Apache 2.2/2.4. The original a2ensite and a2dissite is written in Perl. a2dissite is a symbolic link to a2ensite. Here I followed the same approach, i.e., nginx_dissite is a symbolic link to nginx_ensite.
