jQuery.dotdotdot - jQuery.dotdotdot, advanced cross-browser ellipsis for multiple line content.

  •    Javascript

Dotdotdot is a jQuery plugin for truncating multiple line content on a webpage. It uses an ellipsis to indicate that there is more text than currently visible. Optionally, the plugin can keep a "read more" anchor visible at the end of the content, after the ellipsis. When using the jQuery.dotdotdot plugin, you don't need to worry about your HTML markup, the plugin knows its way around most elements. It's responsive, so when resizing the browser, the ellipsis will update on the fly.

ftellipsis - Multi-line ellipsis made possible

  •    Javascript

Solves the problem of applying ellipsis (…) on a multi-line block of text at the point it overflows its container. Ellipsis will work in conjuction with CSS column-count if you wish. Results are best in webkit browsers due to the availability of webkit-line-clamp. For non-webkit browsers FTEllipsis falls back to clamping text and positioning an element over the end of the overflowing line, allowing the developer to style this however they wish.

Clamp.js - Clamps an HTML element by adding ellipsis to it if the content inside is too long.

  •    Javascript

Clamps (ie. cuts off) an HTML element's content by adding ellipsis to it if the content inside is too long. The $clamp method is the primary way of interacting with Clamp.js, and it takes two arguments. The first is the element which should be clamped, and the second is an Object with options in JSON notation.

tig - Text-mode interface for git

  •    C

Tig is an ncurses-based text-mode interface for git. It functions mainly as a Git repository browser, but can also assist in staging changes for commit at chunk level and act as a pager for output from various Git commands. Bugs and feature requests can be reported using the issue tracker or by mail to either the Git mailing list or directly to the maintainer. Ensure that the word "tig" is in the subject. async-rails - async Rails 3 stack demo

  •    Ruby

You should be aware when using fibers with Rails that you can get a stack overflow error if your stack grows bigger than 4Kb (which is enough for most things though), this got even worse with the 3.1 release in which you can easily overflow the stack, here is an example here. Simple async demo stack with Rails 3.1 + EventMachine and Fibers.

kableExtra - Construct Complex Table with knitr::kable() + pipe

  •    R

However, the ultimate simplicity of kable() also brought troubles to some of us, especially for new R users, who may not have a lot of experience on generating tables in R. It is not rare to see people including experienced users asking questions like how to center/left-align a table on Stack Overflow. Also, for me personally, I found myself repeatedly parsing CSS into kable() for some very simple features like striped lines. For LaTeX, it's even worse since I'm almost Stack Overflow dependent for LaTeX... That's why this package kableExtra was created. This package can load required LaTeX package automatically in vanilla rmarkdown. For customized rmarkdown templates, it is recommended to load related LaTeX packages manually.

BinExp - Linux Binary Exploitation

  •    C

I am quite passionate about exploiting binary files. First time when I came across Buffer Overflow(a simple technique of exploitation) then I was not able to implement the same with the same copy of code on my system. The reason for that was there was no consolidated document that would guide me thoroughly to write a perfect exploit payload for the program in case of system changes. Also there are very few descriptive blogs/tutorials that had helped me exploiting a given binary. I have come up with consolidation of Modern exploitation techniques (in the form of tutorial) that will allow you to understand exploitation from scratch. Lecture 1.
