flexibility - A JavaScript polyfill for Flexbox

  •        9

Flexibility is a polyfill for the Flexible Box Layout, commonly known as Flexbox. With Flexibility, you get to design beautiful, flexible layouts on the web without sacrificing the experience in older browsers. Flexbox lays out, aligns, and distributes elements in a container, even when their size is unknown or dynamic. To better understand Flexbox, read Chris Coyier’s excellent Complete Guide to Flexbox.

react-onclickoutside - An onClickOutside wrapper for React components

  •    Javascript

This is a React Higher Order Component (HOC) that you can use with your own React components if you want to have them listen for clicks that occur somewhere in the document, outside of the element itself (for instance, if you need to hide a menu when people click anywhere else on your page). Note that this HOC relies on the .classList property, which is supported by all modern browsers, but not by deprecated and obsolete browsers like IE (noting that Microsoft Edge is not Microsoft Internet Explorer. Edge does not have any problems with the classList property for SVG elements). If your code relies on classList in any way, you want to use a polyfill like dom4.

LoopBar - Tap Bar with infinite scrolling

  •    Java

At Cleveroad we’ve recently come to realize that navigation through categories in an app using nothing but a navigation panel is pretty boring and trivial. That’s why, armed with our designer’s creativity, we introduce you our new component for Android-based applications -- LoopBar. The idea was to make the navigation menu right at fingerprints, in a tab bar. What's more the view has a few specific features that make it stand out from the crowd of similar ones. So, try out the LoopBar library in your app and you’ll see the difference. View can work in three scroll modes: infinite, finite and auto mode. Names of first two speak for itself. In auto mode the list of groups will be infinite if all adapter items didn't fit on screen in other case it will be a static list. Selected view by request could overlay layout on screen on which it placed. Widget has horizontal and vertical layouts and also start or end gravity of selected view.

bootstrap-ie7 - Bootstrap 3 CSS for IE7

  •

Bootstrap 3 dropped support for Internet Explorer 7, but you can add it back by simply adding this conditional CSS. A. Yes, thanks to JSDelivr: https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/coliff/bootstrap-ie7/css/bootstrap-ie7.min.css, however the box sizing polyfill requires the CSS to be hosted locally so the layout will be broken if you serve the CSS from a CDN.

actiontext - Edit and display rich text in Rails applications

  •    Ruby

Action Text brings rich text content and editing to Rails. It includes the Trix editor that handles everything from formatting to links to quotes to lists to embedded images and galleries. The rich text content generated by the Trix editor is saved in its own RichText model that's associated with any existing Active Record model in the application. Any embedded images (or other attachments) are automatically stored using Active Storage and associated with the included RichText model. Most WYSIWYG editors are wrappers around HTML’s contenteditable and execCommand APIs, designed by Microsoft to support live editing of web pages in Internet Explorer 5.5, and eventually reverse-engineered and copied by other browsers.

PureLayout - The ultimate API for iOS & OS X Auto Layout — impressively simple, immensely powerful

The ultimate API for iOS & OS X Auto Layout — impressively simple, immensely powerful. PureLayout extends UIView/NSView, NSArray, and NSLayoutConstraint with a comprehensive Auto Layout API that is modeled after Apple's own frameworks. PureLayout is a cross-platform Objective-C library that works (and looks!) great in Swift. It is fully backwards-compatible with all versions of iOS and OS X that support Auto Layout. Writing Auto Layout code from scratch isn't easy. PureLayout provides a fully capable and developer-friendly interface for Auto Layout. It is designed for clarity and simplicity, and takes inspiration from the AutoLayout UI options available in Interface Builder while delivering far more flexibility. The API is also highly efficient, as it adds only a thin layer of third party code and is engineered for maximum performance.

Blueprints - :cyclone: Blueprints - A framework that is meant to make your life easier when working with collection view flow layouts

  •    Swift

Blueprints is a collection of flow layouts that is meant to make your life easier when working with collection view flow layouts. It comes with two built-in layouts that are highly flexible and easy to configure at the call-site. They support properties like items per row and items per column; this will calculate the layout attributes needed for fitting the number of views that you want to appear on the screen. The framework also provides a good base for your custom implementations. By extending the core blueprint layout, you get built-in support for animations and layout attribute caching. The bundled default animator supports animations that look very similar to what you get from a vanilla table view. If you want to provide your collection view animator, no problem; you can inject an animator of your choosing when initializing the layout.

zxx.lib.css - a css library for quick layout, especially for flow layout

  •    CSS

As you known, some CSS styles are used very frequently. Actually, zxx.lib.css is a collection of these styles. It includes display, margin, padding, color(web safe color), font refer, vertical-align, float, ..., and many other common styles. In addition to these styles, some group styles that I think useful are also in.

lhm - Online MySQL schema migrations

  •    Ruby

Rails style database migrations are a useful way to evolve your data schema in an agile manner. Most Rails projects start like this, and at first, making changes is fast and easy. That is until your tables grow to millions of records. At this point, the locking nature of ALTER TABLE may take your site down for an hour or more while critical tables are migrated. In order to avoid this, developers begin to design around the problem by introducing join tables or moving the data into another layer. Development gets less and less agile as tables grow and grow. To make the problem worse, adding or changing indices to optimize data access becomes just as difficult.
