dotfiles - vim, zsh, git, homebrew, nvm, nginx, neovim - my whole world

  •    Shell

Welcome to my world. This is a collection of vim, tmux, and zsh configurations. Interested in a video walkthrough of the dotfiles? Check out my talk, vim + tmux. First, you may want to backup any existing files that exist so this doesn't overwrite your work.

dotfiles - bash, zsh, git, tmux, personal toolbox

  •    Shell

Mislav's configuration files for bash, zsh, git, ruby, and more. Note that this will also install my vimfiles if ~/.vim is missing, set up rbenv if ~/.rbenv is missing, and install Homebrew formulae and OS X apps per Brewfile. These dotfiles are tailored for me, so if this is too much for you to take in at once, consider cherry-picking just the functionality you need.

dotfiles - config for neovim, tmux, molotov colourscheme, and more

  •    Vim

Note: these dotfiles are now for the fish shell only, if you're looking for the bash or zsh versions you'll want to check out version 1.0.0. Sensible defaults for all the things! Check out my vimrc for more info, it's pretty well documented.

powerline - Powerline is a statusline plugin for vim, and provides statuslines and prompts for several other applications, including zsh, bash, tmux, IPython, Awesome and Qtile

  •    Python

Powerline is a statusline plugin for vim, and provides statuslines and prompts for several other applications, including zsh, bash, fish, tmux, IPython, Awesome, i3 and Qtile. You should check out some of the Powerline derivatives. The most lightweight and feature-rich alternative is currently Bailey Ling’s vim-airline project.

zsh-vi-mode - 💻 A better and friendly vi(vim) mode plugin for ZSH.

  •    Shell

💻 A better and friendly vi(vim) mode plugin for ZSH. Maybe you have experienced the default Vi mode in Zsh, after turning on the default Vi mode, you gradually found that it had many problems, some features were not perfect or non-existent, and some behaviors even were different from the native Vi(Vim) mode.

dotfiles - Zsh, Karabiner, VS Code, Sublime, Neovim, Nix, Hammerspoon

  •    Vim

These are the various configuration files I use on macOS. I wrote about how you can customize your shell experience in an article here. You can also see my top used applications, Safari extensions and Alfred workflows I use here.

dotfiles - paul's shell, git, etc config files. also homebrew, migration setup. good stuff.

  •    Vim

This repo contains config for bash, zsh, and fish. As of March 2016, I'm using fish shell mostly, but fall back to bash once in a while. The bash and fish stuff are both well maintained; zsh, less so. If you're using fish you'll want to do a git submodule update --init. So many goodies.

dotfiles - 💻 macOS / Ubuntu dotfiles

  •    Shell

These are the base dotfiles that I start with when I set up a new environment. For more specific local needs I use the .local files described in the Local Settings section. The ~/.bash.local file it will be automatically sourced after all the other bash related files, thus, allowing its content to add to or overwrite the existing aliases, settings, PATH, etc.

.dotfiles - :fireworks: Arch Linux with i3 / nvim / tmux / urxvt / zsh / ...

  •    Scheme

Those files are private and are on my private cloud (using Nextcloud). There are no backup system. If you install this on top of your dotfiles, expect a big mess. You shouldn't use the install.sh script. You should only pick whatever you want and include it in your own config.

athame - Full vim for your shell (bash, zsh, gdb, python, etc)

  •    C

Athame patches your shell to add full Vim support by routing your keystrokes through an actual Vim process. Athame can currently be used to patch readline (used by bash, gdb, python, etc) and/or zsh (which doesn't use readline). Yes, and if you're fine with basic vi imitations designed by a bunch of Emacs users, feel free to use them. ...but for the true Vim fanatics who sacrifice goats to the modal gods, Athame gives you the full power of Vim.

tmux-powerline - Statusbar configuration for tmux that looks like vim-powerline and consist of dynamic segments

  •    Shell

This project is in a maintenance mode and no future functionality is likely to be added. tmux-powerline, with all other powerline projects, is replaced by the new unifying powerline. However this project is still functional and can serve as a lightweight alternative for non-python users. This is a set of scripts for making a nice and dynamic tmux statusbar consisting of segments. This is much like Lokaltog/vim-powerline but for tmux.

dotfiles - my Vim/Tmux config :muscle::zap:

  •    Vim

If you're brand new to Vim, I recommend using ThoughtBot's dotfiles. They are better maintained than mine :). Clone this repo (or your own fork!) to your home directory (/Users/username).

antigen - The plugin manager for zsh.

  •    Shell

Antigen is a small set of functions that help you easily manage your shell (zsh) plugins, called bundles. The concept is pretty much the same as bundles in a typical vim+pathogen setup. Antigen is to zsh, what Vundle is to vim. Antigen has reached a certain level of stability and has been used in the wild for around a couple of years. If you face any problems, please open an issue.

vim-tbone - tbone.vim: tmux basics

  •    Vim

Basic tmux support for Vim. Would you like to paste a shell command into another pane over and over again? I am sorry but you will have to install one of the 300 other Vim plugins for tmux.

tmux-complete.vim - Vim plugin for insert mode completion of words in adjacent tmux panes

  •    Vim

You're happily editing your lovely files in Vim, when you notice you need to type a word that you can see in a different Tmux pane right next to Vim. This might be some secret key found in your REPL or the name of a failing test. Usually the interesting text is too short to warrant switching panes and going into Tmux' copy mode, so you end typing it out again.

vim-tmux-navigator - Seamless navigation between tmux panes and vim splits

  •    Vim

This plugin is a repackaging of Mislav Marohnić's tmux-navigator configuration described in this gist. When combined with a set of tmux key bindings, the plugin will allow you to navigate seamlessly between vim and tmux splits using a consistent set of hotkeys. NOTE: This requires tmux v1.8 or higher.

  •    Shell
