serverless-babel-starter - 🗄🙅‍♀️ Serverless with all the fixings: Webpack, Babel, Jest, ESLint, and Prettier

  •    Javascript

Postlight's Modern Serverless Starter Kit adds a light layer on top of the Serverless framework, giving you the latest in modern JavaScript (ES6 via Webpack + Babel, testing with Jest, linting with ESLint, and formatting with Prettier), the ease and power of Serverless, and a few handy helpers (like functions for handling warm functions and response helpers). Once installed, you can create and deploy functions with the latest ES6 features in minutes, with linting and formatting baked in.

js-stack-from-scratch - 🛠️⚡ Step-by-step tutorial to build a modern JavaScript stack.

  •    Javascript

Welcome to my modern JavaScript stack tutorial: JavaScript Stack from Scratch. This is a straight-to-the-point guide to assembling a JavaScript stack. It requires some general programming knowledge, and JavaScript basics. It focuses on wiring tools together and giving you the simplest possible example for each tool. You can see this tutorial as a way to write your own boilerplate from scratch. Since the goal of this tutorial is to assemble various tools, I do not go into details about how these tools work individually. Refer to their documentation or find other tutorials if you want to acquire deeper knowledge in them.

tsdx - Zero-config CLI for TypeScript package development

  •    TypeScript

Despite all the recent hype, setting up a new TypeScript (x React) library can be tough. Between Rollup, Jest, tsconfig, Yarn resolutions, ESLint, and getting VSCode to play nicely....there is just a whole lot of stuff to do (and things to screw up). TSDX is a zero-config CLI that helps you develop, test, and publish modern TypeScript packages with ease--so you can focus on your awesome new library and not waste another afternoon on the configuration. Runs the project in development/watch mode. Your project will be rebuilt upon changes. TSDX has a special logger for your convenience. Error messages are pretty printed and formatted for compatibility VS Code's Problems tab.

HardSourceWebpackPlugin is a plugin for webpack to provide an intermediate caching step for modules. In order to see results, you'll need to run webpack twice with this plugin: the first build will take the normal amount of time. The second build will be signficantly faster. Install with npm install --save hard-source-webpack-plugin or yarn. And include the plugin in your webpack's plugins configuration.

babel-plugin-webpack-loaders - babel 6 plugin which allows to use webpack loaders

  •    Javascript

Since plugin was published, there were a lot of changes in testing software. Be sure in most(all) cases you DON'T need this plugin for testing. I highly recommend you to use jest for testing, and use moduleNameMapper (identity-obj-proxy, etc) to mock CSS-Modules and other webpack loaders. This Babel 6 plugin allows you to use webpack loaders in Babel. It's now easy to run universal apps on the server without additional build steps, to create libraries as usual with babel src --out-dir lib command, to run tests without mocking-prebuilding source code. It just replaces require - import statements with webpack loaders results. Take a look at this Babel build output diff to get the idea.

angular-webpack-starter - A complete Angular 6 and Webpack 4 starter seed with minimal and full featured branches

symfony-react-sandbox - Example of integration with React and Webpack (Webpack Encore) for universal (isomorphic) React rendering, using Limenius/ReactBundle and Limenius/LiformBundle

  •    Javascript

This sandbox provides an example of usage of ReactBundle with server and client-side React rendering (universal/isomorphical) and its integration with a fitting Webpack Encore setup. It also provides an example of the usage of LiformBundle to generate a json-schema from Symfony forms and a forms and validation in React from that schema. -Note: If you are new to React.js, please note that this sandbox or the bundle are not by any means required to use React with Symfony. This shocases how to do some advanced features such as Server Side Rendering, a better integration with forms, injecting components directly from Twig tags, that may be difficult.

isomorphic-style-loader - CSS style loader for Webpack that is optimized for isomorphic (universal) web apps

  •    Javascript

CSS style loader for Webpack that works similarly to style-loader, but is optimized for critical path CSS rendering and also works great in the context of isomorphic apps. It provides two helper methods on to the styles object - ._insertCss() (injects CSS into the DOM) and ._getCss() (returns a CSS string).Note: Configuration is the same for both client-side and server-side bundles.
