ReactScriptLoader - A library for creating React components that depend on external scripts.

ReactScriptLoader simplifies creating React components whose rendering depends on dynamically loaded scripts. It can be used for lazily loading heavy scripts but it's especially useful for loading components that rely on 3rd party scripts, such as Google Maps or Stripe Checkout. React apps are typically single-page apps that are rendered client-side in Javascript. When loading a site built with React, the browser typically pre-loads the javascript necessary to render the site's React components so that they can be rendered with no latency. This works well for sites that serve a relatively small amount of javascript from their own servers in a single bundle. However, in some situations pre-loading all the scripts necessary to render the site's components is impractial. For example, a site may have a Map component that relies on a dynamically loaded 3rd party library to render itself. It may be possible to delay rendering the app until the third party library is finished loading but doing so would make the site feel unnecessarily sluggish. It's a much better strategy to first render the page with a placeholder for the map and asynchronously render the map once the third party library has loaded. Deferring the loading of the external script is even more important when the map component isn't rendered right away but is only revealed after user interaction.

Render is a package that provides functionality for easily rendering JSON, XML, text, binary data, and HTML templates. This package is based on the Martini render work.Go 1.6 introduces a new block action. This conflicts with Render's included block template function. To provide an easy migration path, a new function was created called partial. It is a duplicate of the old block function. It is advised that all users of the block function update their code to avoid any issues in the future. Previous to Go 1.6, Render's block functionality will continue to work but a message will be logged urging you to migrate to the new partial function.

rendertron - A dockerized, headless Chrome rendering solution

Rendertron is a dockerized, headless Chrome rendering solution designed to render & serialise web pages on the fly. Rendertron is designed to enable your Progressive Web App (PWA) to serve the correct content to any bot that doesn't render or execute JavaScript. Rendertron runs as a standalone HTTP server. Rendertron renders requested pages using Headless Chrome, auto-detecting when your PWA has completed loading and serializes the response back to the original request. To use Rendertron, your application configures middleware to determine whether to proxy a request to Rendertron. Rendertron is compatible with all client side technologies, including web components.

rendora - dynamic server-side rendering using headless Chrome to effortlessly solve the SEO problem for modern javascript websites

Rendora can be seen as a reverse HTTP proxy server sitting between your backend server (e.g. Node.js/Express.js, Python/Django, etc...) and potentially your frontend proxy server (e.g. nginx, traefik, apache, etc...) or even directly to the outside world that does actually nothing but transporting requests and responses as they are except when it detects whitelisted requests according to the config. In that case, Rendora instructs a headless Chrome instance to request and render the corresponding page and then return the server-side rendered page back to the client (i.e. the frontend proxy server or the outside world). This simple functionality makes Rendora a powerful dynamic renderer without actually changing anything in both frontend and backend code. Dynamic rendering means that the server provides server-side rendered HTML to web crawlers such as GoogleBot and BingBot and at the same time provides the typical initial HTML to normal users in order to be rendered at the client side. Dynamic rendering is meant to improve SEO for websites written in modern javascript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, etc...

The Scriptable Render Pipeline (SRP) is a new Unity feature in active development. SRP has been designed to give artists and developers the tools they need to create modern, high-fidelity graphics in Unity. Render React components in placeholders that are placed somewhere else in the component tree. There is a common use case in React apps where you want to define a Layout where the content of some elements is defined by children components. For example, you want to define Layout just once and reuse it for every page but it has a breadcrumb whose steps depend on children components. This tiny library allows you to define tunnels to render from an element to whatever another element in the App, even elements located on top of the tree. It's like Portal but the target is a component instead of a DOM element.

gfms - Github Flavored Markdown Server (GFMS)

You can now use the option -a to tell GFMS to render your documents via the Github Markdown Rendering API. For simplicity, the public access is used, which is limited to 60 requests per hour per an IP address. If the mode -a is not specified, GFMS will render your doc via Github API only when you manually reload it in the browser (and on the first load). This way you are less likely ot hit the hourly API limit, because you will only use the API to check for correctness occasionally. Use -n to disable this feature.

This repository contains all the front end code for the current ustwo.com website and the toolset required to build and deploy it. In order to be able to have full control over all aspects of the website – including transitions between pages – and to make navigation super fast by not having to reload the browser, we decided to build the site as a single-page application. We chose React.js as a main JavaScript technology enabling us to do this, since it has built in support to render pages on the server side too (called isomorphic rendering). This way we could keep the initial rendering performance snappy on mobile and let visitors see content without an extra data loading step which usually happens with most client side JavaScript framework. To enable server side rendering and to have proper URLs, we put a small Node backend server behind our app.

I just implemented this on the staging environment of https://www.biglittlepond.com. The one-line render call for the most recently collected items dropped from ~700 ms to ~50 ms. 25 items per page. This will be going into the production release later this week. Multi-fetch Fragments makes rendering and caching a collection of template partials easier and faster. It takes advantage of the read_multi method on the Rails cache store. Some cache implementations have an optimized version of read_multi, which includes the popular Dalli client to Memcached. Traditionally, partial rendering and caching of a collection occurs sequentially, retrieving items from the cache store with the less optimized read method.
