node-ssq - A Node

  •        9

A Node.JS library for sending Source Server Queries (SSQ) to source engine powered game servers (TF2, L4D, etc.). I created this library and shortly after didn't need it anymore. It should work fine, but has not been aggresively tested.

node - Node.js JavaScript runtime :sparkles::turtle::rocket::sparkles:

  •    Javascript

Node.js is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine. Node.js uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient. The Node.js package ecosystem, npm, is the largest ecosystem of open source libraries in the world. The Node.js project is supported by the Node.js Foundation. Contributions, policies, and releases are managed under an open governance model.

mixpanel-node - A node.js API for mixpanel

  •    Javascript

This library provides many of the features in the official JavaScript mixpanel library. It is easy to use, and fully async. It is intended to be used on the server (it is not a client module). The in-browser client library is available at https://github.com/mixpanel/mixpanel-js. mixpanel-node is a server-side library, optimized for stateless shared usage; e.g., in a web application, the same mixpanel instance is used across requests for all users. Rather than setting a distinct_id through identify() calls like Mixpanel client-side libraries (where a single Mixpanel instance is tied to a single user), this library requires you to pass the distinct_id with every tracking call. See https://github.com/mixpanel/mixpanel-node/issues/13.

node-mitm - Intercept and mock outgoing Node

  •    Javascript

Mitm.js is a library for Node.js (and Io.js) to intercept and mock outgoing network TCP and HTTP connections. Mitm.js intercepts and gives you a Net.Socket to communicate as if you were the remote server. For HTTP requests it even gives you Http.IncomingMessage and Http.ServerResponse — just like you're used to when writing Node.js servers. Except there's no actual server running, it's all just In-Process Interception™. Intercepting connections and requests is extremely useful to test and ensure your code does what you expect. Assert on request parameters and send back various responses to your code without ever having to hit the real network. Fast as hell and a lot easier to develop with than external test servers.

This image can be found at launcher.gcr.io/google/nodejs or gcr.io/google-appengine/nodejs and can be used as the base image for running applications on Google App Engine Flexible, Google Container Engine, or any other Docker host. This image is based on Debian Jessie and includes nodejs and npm installed from nodejs.org and yarn installed from yarnpkg.com.

node-neo4j - [RETIRED] Neo4j graph database driver (REST API client) for Node.js

  •    CoffeeScript

This is a client library for accessing Neo4j, a graph database, from Node.js. It uses Neo4j's REST API, and supports Neo4j 1.5 through Neo4j 2.1. Node.js is asynchronous, which means this library is too: most functions take callbacks and return immediately, with the callbacks being invoked when the corresponding HTTP requests and responses finish.

Kylin - Extreme OLAP Engine for Big Data

  •    Java

Apache Kylin is an open source Distributed Analytics Engine designed to provide SQL interface and multi-dimensional analysis (OLAP) on Hadoop supporting extremely large datasets, original contributed from eBay Inc. It is designed to reduce query latency on Hadoop for 10+ billions of rows of data. It offers ANSI SQL on Hadoop and supports most ANSI SQL query functions.

frisbee - :dog2: Modern fetch-based alternative to axios/superagent/request

  •    Javascript

tldr; Stripe-inspired API wrapper for WHATWG's fetch() method for making simple HTTP requests (alternative to superagent, request, axios). If you're using node-fetch, you need node-fetch@v1.5.3 to use form-data with files properly (due to https://github.com/bitinn/node-fetch/issues/102) If you experience form file upload issues, please see https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/7564#issuecomment-266323928.

node-apac - node-apac - Node

  •    Javascript

apac (Amazon Product Advertising Client) will allow you to access the Amazon Product Advertising API from Node.js. Learn more about the Amazon Product Advertising API. node-apac is just a thin wrapper around Amazon's API. The only intent is to take care of request signatures, performing the HTTP requests, processing the responses and parsing the XML. You should be able to run any operation because the operation and all parameters are passed directly to the execute method just as they will be passed to Amazon. The result is that you feel like you're working directly with the API, but you don't have to worry about some of the more tedious tasks.

node-static - rfc 2616 compliant HTTP static-file server module, with built-in caching.

  •    Javascript

node-static understands and supports conditional GET and HEAD requests. node-static was inspired by some of the other static-file serving modules out there, such as node-paperboy and antinode. This will set the Cache-Control header, telling clients to cache the file for an hour. This is the default setting.

nomulus - Top-level domain name registry service on Google App Engine

  •    Java

Nomulus is an open source, scalable, cloud-based service for operating top-level domains (TLDs). It is the authoritative source for the TLDs that it runs, meaning that it is responsible for tracking domain name ownership and handling registrations, renewals, availability checks, and WHOIS requests. End-user registrants (i.e. people or companies that want to register a domain name) use an intermediate domain name registrar acting on their behalf to interact with the registry.Nomulus runs on Google App Engine and is written primarily in Java. It is the software that Google Registry uses to operate TLDs such as .GOOGLE, .HOW, .SOY, and .みんな. It can run any number of TLDs in a single shared registry system using horizontal scaling. Its source code is publicly available in this repository under the Apache 2.0 free and open source license.

Mastering node is an open source eBook by node hackers for node hackers. I started this as a side project and realized that I don't have time :) so go nuts, download it, build it, fork it, extend it and share it. If you come up with something you wish to contribute back, send me a pull request.Mastering node is written using the markdown files provided in ./chapters, which can then be converted to several output formats, currently including pdf, mobi, epub and of course html.

scratch-flash - Open source version of the Scratch 2

  •    ActionScript

This is the open source version of Scratch 2.0 and the core code for the official version found on http://scratch.mit.edu. This code has been released under the GPL version 2 license. Forks can be released under the GPL v2 or any later version of the GPL. If you're interested in contributing to Scratch, please take a look at the issues on this repository. Two great ways of helping Scratch are by identifying bugs and documenting them as issues, or fixing issues and creating pull requests. When submitting pull requests please be patient -- the Scratch Team is very busy and it can take a while to find time to review them. The organization and class structures can't be radically changed without significant coordination and collaboration from the Scratch Team, so these types of changes should be avoided.

recommendationRaccoon - A collaborative filtering based recommendation engine and NPM module built on top of Node

  •    Javascript

An easy-to-use collaborative filtering based recommendation engine and NPM module built on top of Node.js and Redis. The engine uses the Jaccard coefficient to determine the similarity between users and k-nearest-neighbors to create recommendations. This module is useful for anyone with users, a store of products/movies/items, and the desire to give their users the ability to like/dislike and receive recommendations based on similar users. Raccoon takes care of all the recommendation and rating logic. It can be paired with any database as it does not keep track of any user/item information besides a unique ID. Updated for ES6.

node-toobusy - Build Node.JS servers that don't fall over.

  •    Javascript

This library helps you do the latter. toobusy polls the node.js event loop and keeps track of "lag", which is long requests wait in node's event queue to be processed. When lag crosses a threshold, toobusy tells you that you're too busy. At this point you can stop request processing early (before you spend too much time on them and compound the problem), and return a "Server Too Busy" response. This allows your server to stay responsive under extreme load, and continue serving as many requests as possible.

cloudserver - Zenko CloudServer, an open-source Node

  •    Javascript

CloudServer (formerly S3 Server) is an open-source Amazon S3-compatible object storage server that is part of Zenko, Scality’s Open Source Multi-Cloud Data Controller. CloudServer provides a single AWS S3 API interface to access multiple backend data storage both on-premise or public in the cloud.
