wycheproof - Project Wycheproof tests crypto libraries against known attacks.

  •        55

Project Wycheproof is named after Mount Wycheproof, the smallest mountain in the world. The main motivation for the project is to have a goal that is achievable. The smaller the mountain the more likely it is to be able to climb it.Project Wycheproof tests crypto libraries against known attacks. It is developed and maintained by members of Google Security Team, but it is not an official Google product.

Botan - Crypto library for C++

  •    C++

Botan (Japanese for peony) is a cryptography library written in C++11. Botan's goal is to be the best option for cryptography in new C++ code by offering the tools necessary to implement a range of practical systems, such as TLS/DTLS, PKIX certificate handling, PKCS#11 and TPM hardware support, password hashing, and post quantum crypto schemes. In addition to the C++, botan has a C89 API specifically designed to be easy to call from other languages. A Python binding using ctypes is included, and several other language bindings are available.

sjcl - Stanford Javascript Crypto Library

  •    Javascript

The Stanford Javascript Crypto Library is a project by the Stanford Computer Security Lab to build a secure, powerful, fast, small, easy-to-use, cross-browser library for cryptography in Javascript. SJCL is secure. It uses the industry-standard AES algorithm at 128, 192 or 256 bits; the SHA256 hash function; the HMAC authentication code; the PBKDF2 password strengthener; and the CCM and OCB authenticated-encryption modes.

crypto - [mirror] Go supplementary cryptography libraries

  •    Go

This repository holds supplementary Go cryptography libraries. The easiest way to install is to run go get -u golang.org/x/crypto/.... You can also manually git clone the repository to $GOPATH/src/golang.org/x/crypto.

featherduster - An automated, modular cryptanalysis tool; i.e., a Weapon of Math Destruction

  •    Python

FeatherDuster is a tool written by Daniel "unicornfurnace" Crowley of NCC Group for breaking crypto which tries to make the process of identifying and exploiting weak cryptosystems as easy as possible. Cryptanalib is the moving parts behind FeatherDuster, and can be used independently of FeatherDuster. Why "FeatherDuster"? There's an in-joke amongst some crypto folk where using crypto poorly, or to solve a problem that crypto isn't meant to solve is called "sprinkling magical crypto fairy dust on it". FeatherDuster is for cleaning up magical crypto fairy dust.

BouncyCastle - Lightweight Cryptography API for Java and CSharp

end-to-end - End-To-End is a crypto library to encrypt, decrypt, digital sign, and verify signed messages (implementing OpenPGP and OTR)

  •    Javascript

End-To-End is a crypto library to encrypt, decrypt, digital sign, and verify signed messages (implementing OpenPGP and OTR).This is the source code for the End-To-End library. It's built upon a newly developed, JavaScript-based crypto library. End-To-End implements the OpenPGP standard, IETF RFC 4880, enabling key generation, encryption, decryption, digital signature, and signature verification.

Charm-crypto - A Python-based rapid prototyping framework for cryptosystems

  •    Python

Charm is a framework for rapidly prototyping advanced cryptosystems. Based on the Python language, it was designed from the ground up to minimize development time and code complexity while promoting the reuse of components. It supports Base crypto library, including symmetric encryption schemes, hash functions, PRNGs, digital signature, encryption and lot more.

crypto-algorithms - Basic implementations of standard cryptography algorithms, like AES and SHA-1.

  •    C

These are basic implementations of standard cryptography algorithms, written by Brad Conte (brad@bradconte.com) from scratch and without any cross-licensing. They exist to provide publically accessible, restriction-free implementations of popular cryptographic algorithms, like AES and SHA-1. These are primarily intended for educational and pragmatic purposes (such as comparing a specification to actual implementation code, or for building an internal application that computes test vectors for a product). The algorithms have been tested against standard test vectors. This code is released into the public domain free of any restrictions. The author requests acknowledgement if the code is used, but does not require it. This code is provided free of any liability and without any quality claims by the author.

ring - Safe, fast, small crypto using Rust

  •    Rust

ring is focused on the implementation, testing, and optimization of a core set of cryptographic operations exposed via an easy-to-use (and hard-to-misuse) API. ring exposes a Rust API and is written in a hybrid of Rust, C, and assembly language. ring is focused on general-purpose cryptography. WebPKI X.509 certificate validation is done in the webpki project, which is built on top of ring. Also, multiple groups are working on implementations of cryptographic protocols like TLS, SSH, and DNSSEC on top of ring.

MIRACL - MIRACL Cryptographic SDK: Multiprecision Integer and Rational Arithmetic Cryptographic Library is a C software library that is widely regarded by developers as the gold standard open source SDK for elliptic curve cryptography (ECC)

  •    C

What is MIRACL? Multiprecision Integer and Rational Arithmetic Cryptographic Library – the MIRACL Crypto SDK – is a C software library that is widely regarded by developers as the gold standard open source SDK for elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). Why is it different? While many other cryptographic SDKs are focused on PC use, MIRACL also enables developers to build security into highly constrained environments, including embedded, mobile apps and SCADA.
