  •    C++

Header-only C++17 library provides nameof macros and functions to simply obtain the name of a variable, type, function, macro, and enum. Nameof returns std::string_view. If argument does not have name, returns empty string.

  •    PHP

Hprose is a High Performance Remote Object Service Engine.It is a modern, lightweight, cross-language, cross-platform, object-oriented, high performance, remote dynamic communication middleware. It is not only easy to use, but powerful. You just need a little time to learn, then you can use it to easily construct cross language cross platform distributed application system.

rpclib - rpclib is a modern C++ msgpack-RPC server and client library

  •    C++

When srv.run() is called, rpclib starts the server loop which listens to incoming connections and tries to dispatch calls to the bound functions. The functions are called from the thread where run was called from. There is also async_run that spawns worker threads and returns immediately. All planned 1.0.0 features are done and tested; the current state is production-ready.

Through Hprose, You can conveniently and efficiently intercommunicate between those programming languages. This project is the implementation of Hprose for Java.

Fit - C++ function utility library

  •    C++

Fit is a header-only C++11/C++14 library that provides utilities for functions and function objects, which can solve many problems with much simpler constructs than whats traditionally been done with metaprogramming. This requires a C++11 compiler. There are no third-party dependencies. This has been tested on clang 3.5-3.8, gcc 4.6-6.2, and Visual Studio 2015. Gcc 5.1 is not supported at all, however, gcc 5.4 is supported.

hof - Higher-order functions for c++

  •    C++

HigherOrderFunctions is a header-only C++11/C++14 library that provides utilities for functions and function objects, which can solve many problems with much simpler constructs than whats traditionally been done with metaprogramming. This requires a C++11 compiler. There are no third-party dependencies. This has been tested on clang 3.5-3.8, gcc 4.6-7, and Visual Studio 2015 and 2017.

cppinsights - C++ Insights - See your source code with the eyes of a compiler

  •    C++

C++ Insights is a clang-based tool which does a source to source transformation. Its goal is it to make things visible which normally, and intentionally, happen behind the scenes. It's about the magic the compiler does for us to make things work. You can see all the compiler provided functions. Also the downcast from Derived to Base.

libjson-rpc-cpp - C++ framework for json-rpc (json remote procedure call)

  •    C++

This framework provides cross platform JSON-RPC (remote procedure call) support for C++. It is fully JSON-RPC 2.0 & 1.0 compatible. For Arch Linux there is a PKGBUILD provided in the AUR.

armeria - Asynchronous RPC/REST library built on top of Java 8, Netty, HTTP/2, Thrift and gRPC

  •    Java

Visit the official web site for more information.Armeria is an open-source asynchronous RPC/API client/server library built on top of Java 8, Netty 4.1, HTTP/2, Thrift and gRPC. Its primary goal is to help engineers build high-performance asynchronous microservices that use HTTP/2 as a session layer protocol.

doctest - The fastest feature-rich C++11 single-header testing framework for unit tests and TDD

  •    C++

doctest is a new C++ testing framework but is by far the fastest both in compile times (by orders of magnitude) and runtime compared to other feature-rich alternatives. It brings the ability of compiled languages such as D / Rust / Nim to have tests written directly in the production code by providing a fast, transparent and flexible test runner with a clean interface. The framework is and will stay free but needs your support to sustain its development. There are lots of new features and maintenance to do. If you work for a company using doctest or have the means to do so, please consider financial support. Monthly donations via Patreon and one-offs via PayPal.

magic_get - std::tuple like methods for user defined types without any macro or boilerplate code

  •    C++

This C++14 library is meant for accessing structure elements by index and providing other std::tuple like methods for user defined types without any macro or boilerplate code. Distributed under the Boost Software License, Version 1.0.

rang - A Minimal, Header only Modern c++ library for terminal goodies 💄✨

  •    C++

rang only depends on C++ standard library, unistd.h system header on unix and windows.h & io.h system headers on windows based systems. In other words, you don't need any 3rd party dependencies. rang is a single header-only library. Put rang.hpp in the include folder directly into the project source tree or somewhere reachable from your project.

better-enums - C++ compile-time enum to string, iteration, in a single header file.

  •    C++

Reflective compile-time enum library with clean syntax, in a single header file, and without dependencies. In C++11, everything can be used at compile time. You can convert your enums, loop over them, find their max, statically enforce conventions, and pass along the results as template arguments or to constexpr functions. All the reflection is available for your metaprogramming needs.

duplex - Full duplex modern RPC

  •    Python

Duplex is an RPC protocol designed for dynamic (and some statically-typed) languages that focuses on advanced RPC semantics and not object or frame serialization. This lets you pick how to marshal objects, whether with JSON, msgpack, protobuf, BERT, BSON, or anything custom.While that alone is somehow already revolutionary for RPC protocols, it also combines client and server into a peer object, letting either side of the connection call or provide invocable service methods. This means you never have to worry about only having a client or only having a server library in your language. It also allows for flexible connection topologies (server calling client functions), callbacks, and plugin architectures.

Cap'n Proto - Serialization/RPC system

  •    C++

Cap'n Proto is an insanely fast data interchange format and capability-based RPC system. Think JSON, except binary. Or think Protocol Buffers, except faster. In fact, in benchmarks, Cap'n Proto is INFINITY TIMES faster than Protocol Buffers.

beast - HTTP and WebSocket built on Boost.Asio in C++11

  •    C++

Beast is a C++ header-only library serving as a foundation for writing interoperable networking libraries by providing low-level HTTP/1, WebSocket, and networking protocol vocabulary types and algorithms using the consistent asynchronous model of Boost.Asio. Symmetry: Algorithms are role-agnostic; build clients, servers, or both.

SignalR - Incredibly simple real-time web for .NET

  •    CSharp

ASP.NET SignalR is a library for ASP.NET developers that makes it incredibly simple to add real-time web functionality to your applications. It's the ability to have your server-side code push content to the connected clients as it happens, in real-time. SignalR also provides a very simple, high-level API for doing server to client RPC (call JavaScript functions in your clients' browsers from server-side .NET code) in your ASP.NET application.
