react-game-kit - Component library for making games with React & React Native

  •        924

react-game-kit provides a set of helper components to make it easier to create games with React and React Native. The Loop component uses context to pass a subscribable game tick down your component tree. The Stage component does the same with game scale.

You can also install using the package managers Bower and NPM. Visit the Getting started wiki page for a minimal usage example which should work in both browsers and Node.js. Also see the Running and Rendering wiki pages, which show how to use your own game and rendering loops.

react-spring - ✌️ A spring physics based React animation library

  •    TypeScript

react-spring is a spring-physics based animation library that should cover most of your UI related animation needs. It gives you tools flexible enough to confidently cast your ideas into moving interfaces. This library represents a modern approach to animation. It is very much inspired by Christopher Chedeau's animated and Cheng Lou's react-motion. It inherits animated's powerful interpolations and performance, as well as react-motion's ease of use. But while animated is mostly imperative and react-motion mostly declarative, react-spring bridges both. You will be surprised how easy static data is cast into motion with small, explicit utility functions that don't necessarily affect how you form your views.

renature - A physics-based animation library for React focused on modeling natural world forces.

renature is a physics-based animation library for React focused on modeling natural world forces like gravity, friction, and fluid dynamics, exposed as a set of React hooks. renature's documentation lives on our docs site. Notice something inaccurate or confusing? Feel free to open an issue or make a pull request to help improve the documentation for everyone! The source for our docs site lives in this repo in the docs folder.

MIT Licensed Open Source version of Torque 2D from GarageGames. Maintained by the T2D Steering Committee and contributions from the community. Dedicated to 2D game development, Torque 2D is an extremely powerful, flexible, and fast C++ engine which has been used in hundreds of professional games. It is a true cross platform solution providing you access to Windows, OSX, Linux, iOS, Android, and the web - all from one codebase. It includes an OpenGL batched rendering system, Box2D physics, OpenAL audio, skeletal and spritesheet animation, automated asset management, a modular project structure, TAML object persistence, and a C-like scripting language.

react-spring - 🙌 Helping react-motion and animated to become best friends

  •    Javascript

A set of simple, spring-physics based primitives (as in building blocks) that should cover most of your UI related animation needs once plain CSS can't cope any longer. Forget easings, durations, timeouts and so on as you fluidly move data from one state to another. This isn't meant to solve each and every problem but rather to give you tools flexible enough to confidently cast ideas into moving interfaces. react-spring is a cooked down fork of Christopher Chedeau's animated (which is used in react-native by default). It is trying to bridge it with Cheng Lou's react-motion. Although both are similarily spring-physics based they are still polar opposites.

racing-game - 🏎 Open source racing game developed by everyone willing

  •    TypeScript

This project is a showcase for the feasibility of React in gaming. Every thing is a self contained component using react-three-fiber to express threejs with React semantics. If that seems strange to you read this explanation. This project is 100% open source and community built, CC0 assets only, everyone is invited to participate. If you have a PR merged you are added to the triage team. Refer to for more information.

react-flip-move - Effortless animation between DOM changes (eg

  •    Javascript

This module was built to tackle the common but arduous problem of animating a list of items when the list's order changes. CSS transitions only work for CSS properties. If your list is shuffled, the items have rearranged themselves, but without the use of CSS. The DOM nodes don't know that their on-screen location has changed; from their perspective, they've been removed and inserted elsewhere in the document.
