reindex-api - GraphQL backend as a service

  •    Javascript

Note: This project is no longer maintained. The source code is released under the license specified in file LICENSE. reindex-api is a multi-tenant, hosted GraphQL database solution. reindex-api converts a JSON based schema into a GraphQL API in addition to creating a database storage (MongoDB or RethinkDB) underneath. GraphQL API is fully Relay compatible and contains CRUD operations as entry points. Input is Relay-aware and declarative. Additionally, reindex-api provides Social Login with 5 providers (Auth0, Facebook, Google, Twitter and Github). Functionality of reindex-api can be extended by configuring hooks that call external web services. It also provides a rich permission system based on defining graph paths to the user type.

express-graphql - Create a GraphQL HTTP server with Express.

  •    Javascript

Create a GraphQL HTTP server with any HTTP web framework that supports connect styled middleware, including Connect itself, Express and Restify.Use .get or .post (or both) rather than .use to configure your route handler. If you want to show GraphiQL in the browser, set graphiql: true on your .get handler.

koa-graphql - Create a GraphQL HTTP server with Koa.

  •    Javascript

Create a GraphQL HTTP server with Koa. NOTE: Below is a copy from express-graphql's README. In this time I implemented almost same api, but it may be changed as time goes on.

postgraphile - Execute one command (or mount one Node

  •    TypeScript

An instant, highly-performant GraphQL API for your PostgreSQL database, extensible via a powerful plugin system. Note: v1-v3 of this project were named PostGraphQL. A v3-v4 migration guide is available here and you can check out some of the new features here. No more development is taking place on v3, but you can still access its branch here.

type-graphql - Create GraphQL schema and resolvers with TypeScript, using classes and decorators!

  •    TypeScript

We all know that GraphQL is so great and solves many problems that we have with REST API, like overfetching and underfetching. But developing a GraphQL API in Node.js with TypeScript is sometimes a bit of pain. Why? Let's take a look at the steps we usually have to make. The biggest problem is the redundancy in our codebase, which makes it difficult to keep things in sync. To add a new field to our entity, we have to jump through all the files - modify an entity class, the schema, as well as the interface. The same goes with inputs or arguments. It's easy to forget to update one piece or make a mistake with a single type. Also, what if we've made a typo in field name? The rename feature (F2) won't work correctly.

graffiti - ⚠️ DEVELOPMENT DISCONTINUED - Node.js GraphQL ORM

  •    Javascript

Currently the consumption of HTTP REST APIs dominate the client-side world, GraphQL aims to change this. This transition can be time-consuming - this is where graffiti comes into the picture. We don't want to rewrite our application - no one wants that. graffiti provides an Express middleware, a Hapi plugin and a Koa middleware to convert your existing models into a GraphQL schema and exposes it over HTTP.

graphql-api - Write type-safe GraphQL services in Haskell

  •    Haskell

graphql-api helps you implement a robust GraphQL API in Haskell. By the time a query makes it to your handler you are dealing with strong, static types that make sense for your problem domain. All your handlers are normal Haskell functions because we derive their type signature from the schema. If you have used servant, this will sound familiar. The library provides type combinators to create a GraphQL schema, and functions to parse and evaluate queries against the schema.

relay-fullstack -:running: Modern Relay Starter Kit - Integrated with Relay, GraphQL, Express, ES6/ES7, JSX, Webpack, Babel, Material Design Lite, and PostCSS

  •    Javascript

Relay Fullstack is a Relay scaffolding application that aims to help you get up and running a project without worrying about integrating tools. It comes with many modern technologies; Relay, GraphQL, Express, ES6/ES7, JSX, Webpack, Babel, Material Design Lite, and PostCSS. Relay Fullstack is also using Hot-reload to real time update the screen whenever any code changes. Check out the Live demo on Heroku.

apollo-server - :earth_africa: GraphQL server for Express, Connect, Hapi and Koa

  •    TypeScript

Apollo Server is a community-maintained open-source GraphQL server. It works with pretty much all Node.js HTTP server frameworks, and we're happy to take PRs for more! It works with any GraphQL schema built with the graphql-js reference implementation.Apollo Server is super easy to set up. Just npm install apollo-server-<variant>, write a GraphQL schema, and then use one of the following snippets to get started. For more info, read the Apollo Server docs.

graphql-middleware - Split up your GraphQL resolvers in middleware functions

  •    TypeScript

Split up your GraphQL resolvers in middleware functions. GraphQL Middleware is a schema wrapper which allows you to manage additional functionality across multiple resolvers efficiently.

hotchocolate - Hot Chocolate is a GraphQL server, written in C# for .Net Core and .Net Framework

  •    CSharp

Hot Chocolate is a GraphQL server implementation based on the current GraphQL June 2018 specification. If you are just getting started with GraphQL a good way to learn is visiting GraphQL.org. We have implemented the Star Wars example with the Hot Chocolate API and you can use our example implementation to follow along.

Api-platform - REST and GraphQL framework to build modern API-driven projects (server-side and client-side)

  •    Javascript

API Platform is a set of tools to build and consume web APIs. API Platform embraces open web standards (Swagger, JSON-LD, GraphQL, Hydra, HAL, JWT, OAuth, HTTP...) and the Linked Data movement. Your API will automatically expose structured data in Schema.org/JSON-LD. It means that your API Platform application is usable out of the box with technologies of the semantic web.

graphql-anywhere - :icecream: Run a GraphQL query anywhere, against any data, with no schema.

  •    TypeScript

Run a GraphQL query anywhere, without a GraphQL server or a schema. Just pass in one resolver. Use it together with graphql-tag.I think there are a lot of potentially exciting use cases for a completely standalone and schema-less GraphQL execution engine. We use it in Apollo Client to read data from a Redux store with GraphQL.

Parse - The Complete Application Stack

  •    Javascript

Parse is the complete application stack. It helps to build applications faster with object and file storage, user authentication, push notifications, dashboard and more out of the box. Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js.

graphql-faker - 🎲 Mock or extend your GraphQL API with faked data. No coding required.

  •    TypeScript

Mock your future API or extend the existing API with realistic data from faker.js. No coding required. All you need is to write GraphQL IDL. Don't worry, we will provide you with examples in our IDL editor. In the GIF bellow we add fields to types inside real GitHub API and you can make queries from GraphiQL, Apollo, Relay, etc. and receive real data mixed with mock data.
