Choose from these interfaces: G2F (Ada), MagickCore (C), MagickWand (C), ChMagick (Ch), ImageMagickObject (COM+), Magick++ (C++), JMagick (Java), L-Magick (Lisp), NMagick (Neko/haXe), MagickNet (.NET), PascalMagick (Pascal), PerlMagick (Perl), MagickWand for PHP (PHP), IMagick (PHP), PythonMagick (Python), magick (R), RMagick (Ruby), or TclMagick (Tcl/TK). With a language interface, use ImageMagick to modify or create images dynamically and automagically.

Sharp - High performance Node.js image processing

  •    Javascript

The typical use case for this high speed Node.js module is to convert large images in common formats to smaller, web-friendly JPEG, PNG and WebP images of varying dimensions.Resizing an image is typically 4x-5x faster than using the quickest ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick settings.

  •    C++

GraphicsMagick is the swiss army knife of image processing. It provides a robust and efficient collection of tools and libraries which support reading, writing, and manipulating an image in over 88 major formats including important formats like DPX, GIF, JPEG, JPEG-2000, PNG, PDF, PNM, and TIFF.

node-easyimage - Node.js module for image processing and manipulation

  •    TypeScript

EasyImage is a promise-based image processing module for Node.js, it is built on top of ImageMagick, so make sure ImageMagick is installed on your system. EasyImage 3 is only compatible with NodeJS 4 or greater.

Flyimg - Microservice to resize and crop images on the fly

  •    PHP

Image resizing, cropping and compression on the fly with the impressive MozJPEG compression algorithm. One Docker container to build your own Cloudinary-like service. You pass the image URL and a set of keys with options, like size or compression. Flyimg will fetch the image, convert it, store it, cache it and serve it. The next time the request comes, it will serve the cached version.

LibreOffice is the free power-packed Open Source personal productivity suite for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. LibreOffice is the perfect choice for home users, businesses, government and other organizations. It's native file format is the ISO standardized ODF (Open Document Format), but LibreOffice can open and save Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, as well as many other formats, bringing you the widest-available compatibility with other products.

image_sorcery - A ruby Image/Graphics Magick library. Note: This project is no longer maintained.

  •    Ruby

Image Sorcery allows you to leverage all three of ImageMagick's command line tools, mogrify, convert, and identify, for maximum magickal power and minimum memory consumption! It even lets you use GraphicsMagick, too, if that's your thing. ImageSorcery doesn't try to be anything more than a wrapper that exposes the full ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick APIs. This makes it small and powerful, eliminating the above problems.

imgp - Multi-core batch image resizer and rotator

  •    Python

imgp is a command line image resizer and rotator for JPEG and PNG images. It can resize (or thumbnail) and rotate thousands of images in a go, at lightning speed, while saving significantly on storage. Powered by multiprocessing, an intelligent adaptive algorithm, recursive operations, shell completion scripts, EXIF preservation (and more), imgp is a very flexible utility with well-documented easy to use options.

bild - A collection of parallel image processing algorithms in pure Go

  •    Go

A collection of parallel image processing algorithms in pure Go.The aim of this project is simplicity in use and development over high performance, but most algorithms are designed to be efficient and make use of parallelism when available. It is based on standard Go packages to reduce dependency use and development abstractions.

imgproxy - Fast and secure standalone server for resizing and converting remote images

  •    Go

imgproxy is a fast and secure standalone server for resizing and converting remote images. The main principles of imgproxy are simplicity, speed, and security. imgproxy can be used to provide a fast and secure way to replace all the image resizing code of your web application (like calling ImageMagick or GraphicsMagick, or using libraries), while also being able to resize everything on the fly, fast and easy. imgproxy is also indispensable when handling lots of image resizing, especially when images come from a remote source.

ImageSharp - A cross-platform library for the processing of image files; written in C#

  •    CSharp

ImageSharp is a new, fully featured, fully managed, cross-platform, 2D graphics API. Without the use of System.Drawing we have been able to develop something much more flexible, easier to code against, and much, much less prone to memory leaks. Gone are system-wide process-locks; ImageSharp images are thread-safe and fully supported in web environments. Built against .Net Standard 1.1 ImageSharp can be used in device, cloud, and embedded/IoT scenarios.

ImageMagick Application Wrapper

  •    CSharp

This is a .net application written in c# that utilises the ImageMagick command line application to allow conversion of multiple image formats to different formats. This requires .Net 2.0, ImageMagick and GhostScript to be installed to work.

Kdenlive is a video editor, which supports DV, AVCHD (experimental support) and HDV editing. Kdenlive relies on several other open source projects, such as FFmpeg and MLT video framework. It is designed to answer all needs, from basic video editing to semi-professionnal work. Kdenlive can read, edit and export Flash video. Kdenlive supports most audio formats for reading, mixing and exporting. It also offers experimental support for non-destructive audio and video codec.

imaging - Simple Go image processing package

  •    Go

Package imaging provides basic image manipulation functions (resize, rotate, flip, crop, etc.). This package is based on the standard Go image package and works best along with it.Image manipulation functions provided by the package take any image type that implements image.Image interface as an input, and return a new image of *image.NRGBA type (32bit RGBA colors, not premultiplied by alpha).

node-exif - A node.js library to extract Exif metadata from images.

  •    Javascript

With node-exif you can extract Exif metadata from images (JPEG). Exif is a format used, for example, by digital cameras and scanners to save additional information about an image in the image file. This information can be the camera model, resolution, where the image was taken (GPS) or when it was taken. Rodrigo Espinosa proposes the npm package exif-cli to execute node-exif from a shell.

laravel-image - Image manipulation library for Laravel 4 and 5 based on Imagine (https://github

  •    PHP

Laravel Image is an image manipulation package for Laravel 4 and 5 based on the PHP Imagine library. It is inspired by Croppa as it can use specially formatted urls to do the manipulations. It supports basic image manipulations such as resize, crop, rotation and flip. It also supports effects such as negative, grayscale, gamma, colorize and blur. You can also define custom filters for greater flexibility. The main difference between this package and other image manipulation libraries is that you can use parameters directly in the url to manipulate the image. A manipulated version of the image is then saved in the same path as the original image, creating a static version of the file and bypassing PHP for all future requests.

digiKam - Advanced Digital Photo Management
