piggieback - nREPL support for ClojureScript REPLs

nREPL middleware that enables the use of a ClojureScript REPL on top of an nREPL session. Piggieback provides an alternative ClojureScript REPL entry point (cemerick.piggieback/cljs-repl) that changes an nREPL session into a ClojureScript REPL for eval and load-file operations, while accepting all the same options as cljs.repl/repl. When the ClojureScript REPL is terminated (by sending :cljs/quit for evaluation), the nREPL session is restored to it original state.

CShell is an interactive C# scripting environment. It allows you to use C# without any fluff right in a console like environment called a read-eval-print-loop (REPL). Your code is directly evaluated and executed in a shell window, no separate executable has to be compiled and then run in a different process. More elaborate code can be written in a C# script and then evaluated as one file, only one line, or a selection. Then, your results can be easily dumped to HTML (like LINQPad) or viewed as a data grid or plotted to a chart. mrec is a Python package developed at Mendeley to support recommender systems development and evaluation. The package currently focuses on item similarity and other methods that work well on implicit feedback, and on experimental evaluation. mrec tries to fill two small gaps in the current landscape, firstly by supplying simple tools for consistent and reproducible evaluation, and secondly by offering examples of how to use IPython.parallel to run the same code either on the cores of a single machine or on a cluster. The combination of IPython and scientific Python libraries is very powerful, but there are still rather few examples around that show how to get it to work in practice.

Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) is the first step toward an open ecosystem that empowers AI developers to choose the right tools as their project evolves. ONNX provides an open source format for AI models. It defines an extensible computation graph model, as well as definitions of built-in operators and standard data types. Initially we focus on the capabilities needed for inferencing (evaluation). Caffe2, PyTorch, Microsoft Cognitive Toolkit, Apache MXNet and other tools are developing ONNX support. Enabling interoperability between different frameworks and streamlining the path from research to production will increase the speed of innovation in the AI community. Depending on how application state is managed during development, the above three superpowers can either stay, go somewhat, or go completely. If Clojure REPL (i.e. lein repl, boot repl) fired up instantly, the need to reload application state inside the REPL would go away. But at the moment, and for some time in the future, managing state by making it reloadable within the same REPL session is important to retain all the Clojure superpowers.
