bodymen - Body parser middleware for MongoDB, Express and Nodejs (MEN)

  •        243

Bodymen works similarly to Querymen and has almost the same functionality, expect it formats, validates and parses request body instead of querystrings. Refer to Querymen's readme to find out more. Bodymen allows you to define a schema to control the fields sent through the request body.

sqler - write APIs using direct SQL queries with no hassle, let's rethink about SQL

  •    Go

SQL-er is a tiny portable server enables you to write APIs using SQL query to be executed when anyone hits it, also it enables you to define validation rules so you can validate the request body/query params, as well as data transformation using simple javascript syntax. sqler uses nginx style configuration language (HCL) amd javascript engine for custom expressions. RESTful server could be used to interact directly with i.e mobile, browser, ... etc, in this mode SQLer is protected by authorizers, which gives you the ability to check authorization against another 3rd-party api. Each macro you add to the configuration file(s) you can access to it by issuing a http request to /<macro-name>, every query param and json body will be passed to the macro .Input.

node-express-realworld-example-app

  •    Javascript

Requests are authenticated using the Authorization header with a valid JWT. We define two express middlewares in routes/auth.js that can be used to authenticate requests. The required middleware configures the express-jwt middleware using our application's secret and will return a 401 status code if the request cannot be authenticated. The payload of the JWT can then be accessed from req.payload in the endpoint. The optional middleware configures the express-jwt in the same way as required, but will not return a 401 status code if the request cannot be authenticated.
