nanohtml - HTML template strings for the Browser with support for Server Side Rendering in Node

  •        71

HTML template strings for the Browser with support for Server Side Rendering in Node. By default all content inside template strings is escaped. This is great for strings, but not ideal if you want to insert HTML that's been returned from another function (for example: a markdown renderer). Use nanohtml/raw for to interpolate HTML directly.

hyperx - 🏷 - tagged template string virtual dom builder

  •    Javascript

This module is similar to JSX, but provided as a standards-compliant ES6 tagged template string function. hyperx works with virtual-dom, react, hyperscript, or any DOM builder with a hyperscript-style API: h(tagName, attrs, children).

blaze - :fire: Meteor Blaze is a powerful library for creating live-updating user interfaces

  •    Javascript

Blaze is a powerful library for creating user interfaces by writing reactive HTML templates. Compared to using a combination of traditional templates and jQuery, Blaze eliminates the need for all the "update logic" in your app that listens for data changes and manipulates the DOM. Instead, familiar template directives like {{#if}} and {{#each}} integrate with Tracker's "transparent reactivity" and Minimongo's database cursors so that the DOM updates automatically.A template compiler that compiles template files into JavaScript code that runs against the Blaze runtime library. Moreover, Blaze provides a compiler toolchain (think LLVM) that can be used to support arbitrary template syntaxes. The flagship template syntax is Spacebars, a variant of Handlebars, but a community alternative based on Jade is already in use by many apps.

iron-list - Element for a virtual, "infinite" list

  •    Javascript

iron-list displays a virtual, 'infinite' list. The template inside the iron-list element represents the DOM to create for each list item. The items property specifies an array of list item data. For performance reasons, not every item in the list is rendered at once; instead a small subset of actual template elements (enough to fill the viewport) are rendered and reused as the user scrolls. As such, it is important that all state of the list template be bound to the model driving it, since the view may be reused with a new model at any time. Particularly, any state that may change as the result of a user interaction with the list item must be bound to the model to avoid view state inconsistency.

t7 - Lightweight virtual DOM templating library

  •    Javascript

t7.js is a small, lightweight JavaScript template library that compiles ES2015 template strings into virtual DOM objects. Template strings allow for JavaScript expressions to be embedded within literal strings. With that in mind, it made logical sense to build a small library around them to assist developers wanting to work with virtual DOM frameworks without the overhead of learning a new language. t7 does not introduce new syntax into the mix like other templating engines do, it simply uses pure JavaScript and HTML.

metamorph.js

  •    Javascript

Metamorph.js is a library that allows you to create a string of HTML, insert it into the DOM, and update the contents later. It works for normal cases, like inserting text into a <p> tag, and more complicated cases, like updating an <li> inside a <ul> or a <tr> inside a <table> (even after the <tbody> was automatically generated). The motivation for the Metamorph library is to make it possible for template engines to insert arbitrary content into a String of outputted HTML that they are generating with the ability to replace exactly that content later.

Vertigo is blogging platform similar to Ghost, Medium and Tumblr. Vertigo is written in Go and has fully featured JSON API and it can be run using single binary on all major operating systems like Windows, Linux and OSX. The frontend code is powered by Go's template/html package, which is similar to Mustache.js. The template files are in plain HTML and JavaScript (vanilla) only appears on few pages. JavaScript is stripped down as much as possible to provide a better user experience on different devices. Vertigo also ships without any CSS frameworks, so it is easy to start customizing the frontend with the tools of your choice.

dot-dom -

  •    Javascript

.dom borrows some concepts from React.js (such as the re-usable Components and the Virtual DOM) and tries to replicate them with the smallest possible footprint, exploiting the ES6 javascript features. Tiny by design : The library should never exceed the 512 bytes in size. The goal is not to have yet another template engine, but to have as many features as possible in 512 bytes. If a new feature is needed, an other must be sacraficed or the scope must be reduced.

DOMPurify - a DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, MathML and SVG

  •    Javascript

DOMPurify is a DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, MathML and SVG. DOMPurify sanitizes HTML and prevents XSS attacks. oy - Render HTML emails on the server with React.

  •    Javascript

For those migrating from previous Oy versions, note that bgColor is now bgcolor and vAlign is valign. If Oy's default template doesn't work for you, you can make your own. generateCustomTemplate takes in templateOptions with an additional property bodyContent, which is the rendered body HTML to be inserted into your template. It then returns a string that should be the final email HTML sent to users.
