NSwag - The Swagger/OpenAPI toolchain for .NET, Web API and TypeScript.

  •    CSharp

NSwag is a Swagger/OpenAPI 2.0 and 3.0 toolchain for .NET, .NET Core, Web API, ASP.NET Core, TypeScript (jQuery, AngularJS, Angular 2+, Aurelia, KnockoutJS, and more) and other platforms, written in C#. The Swagger specification uses JSON and JSON Schema to describe a RESTful web API. The NSwag project provides tools to generate Swagger specifications from existing ASP.NET Web API controllers and client code from these Swagger specifications. The project combines the functionality of Swashbuckle (Swagger generation) and AutoRest (client generation) in one toolchain. This way a lot of incompatibilites can be avoided and features which are not well described by the Swagger specification or JSON Schema are better supported (e.g. inheritance, enum and reference handling). The NSwag project heavily uses NJsonSchema for .NET for JSON Schema handling and C#/TypeScript class/interface generation.

NJsonSchema - JSON Schema reader, generator and validator for .NET

  •    CSharp

NJsonSchema is a .NET library to read, generate and validate JSON Schema draft v4+ schemas. The library can read a schema from a file or string and validate JSON data against it. A schema can also be generated from an existing .NET class. With the code generation APIs you can generate C# and TypeScript classes or interfaces from a schema. The library uses Json.NET to read and write JSON data.

json-schema - Ruby JSON Schema Validator

  •    Ruby

This library is intended to provide Ruby with an interface for validating JSON objects against a JSON schema conforming to JSON Schema Draft 4. Legacy support for JSON Schema Draft 3, JSON Schema Draft 2, and JSON Schema Draft 1 is also included. Please be aware that the upgrade to version 2.0.0 will use Draft-04 by default, so schemas that do not declare a validator using the $schema keyword will use Draft-04 now instead of Draft-03. This is the reason for the major version upgrade.

ngx-schema-form - HTML form generation based on JSON Schema

  •    TypeScript

Ngx Schema Form is an Angular 2+ module allowing you to instanciate an HTML form from a JSON schema. Note: Version 1.x is compliant with Angular <=4, version 2.x is compliant with Angular >=6.

angular-schema-form - Generate forms from a JSON schema, with AngularJS!

  •    Javascript

Schema Form is inspired by the nice [JSON Form](https://github.com/joshfire/jsonform) library andaims to be roughly compatible with it, especially its form definition. So what sets Schema Formapart from JSON Form?1. Schema Form integrates deeply with AngularJS and uses AngularJS conventions to handle forms.2. Schema Form uses [tv4](https://github.com/geraintluff/tv4) for validation, making it compatible with version 4 of the JSON schema standard.3. By default, Schema Form generates Bootstrap 3

JSV - A JavaScript implementation of an extendable, fully compliant JSON Schema validator.

  •    Javascript

A JSON validator is a program that takes JSON data and, with a provided schema, will ensure that the provided JSON is structured in the way defined by the schema. This ensures that if validation has passed, the JSON instance is guaranteed to be in the expected format. It will also provide an explanation on why a particular instance failed validation. There is no one way to validate JSON, just like there is no one way to validate XML. Even the JSON Schema specification has gone through several revisions which are not 100% backwards compatible with each other. To solve the issue of using numerous schemas already written to older specifications, JSV provides customizable environments to validate your JSON within.

type-graphql - Create GraphQL schema and resolvers with TypeScript, using classes and decorators!

  •    TypeScript

We all know that GraphQL is so great and solves many problems that we have with REST API, like overfetching and underfetching. But developing a GraphQL API in Node.js with TypeScript is sometimes a bit of pain. Why? Let's take a look at the steps we usually have to make. The biggest problem is the redundancy in our codebase, which makes it difficult to keep things in sync. To add a new field to our entity, we have to jump through all the files - modify an entity class, the schema, as well as the interface. The same goes with inputs or arguments. It's easy to forget to update one piece or make a mistake with a single type. Also, what if we've made a typo in field name? The rename feature (F2) won't work correctly.

ajv - The fastest JSON Schema Validator. Supports draft-04/06/07

  •    Javascript

The fastest JSON Schema validator for Node.js and browser. Supports draft-04/06/07.JSON Schema draft-07 is published.

jsonform - Build forms from JSON Schema

  •    Javascript

The JSON Form library is a JavaScript client-side library that takes a structured data model defined using JSON Schema as input and returns a Bootstrap-friendly HTML form that matches the schema. The generated HTML form includes client-side validation logic that provides direct inline feedback to the user upon form submission (provided a JSON Schema validator is available). If values are valid, the JSON Form library uses submitted values to create the JavaScript data structure that matches the data model.

prmd - JSON Schema tools and doc generation for HTTP APIs

  •    Ruby

JSON Schema tooling: scaffold, verify, and generate documentation from JSON Schema documents. JSON Schema provides a great way to describe an API. prmd provides tools for bootstrapping a description like this, verifying its completeness, and generating documentation from the specification.

JSON-Schema-Test-Suite - A language agnostic test suite for the JSON Schema specifications

  •    Python

This repository contains a set of JSON objects that implementors of JSON Schema validation libraries can use to test their validators. It is meant to be language agnostic and should require only a JSON parser.

json-editor - JSON Schema Based Editor

  •    Javascript

z-schema - JSON Schema validator written in JavaScript for NodeJS and Browsers

  •    Javascript

Validator will try to perform sync validation when possible for speed, but supports async callbacks when they are necessary. In case you have some remote references in your schemas, you have to download those schemas before using validator. Otherwise you'll get UNRESOLVABLE_REFERENCE error when trying to compile a schema.

iodocs - Interactive API documentation system

  •    Javascript

Copyright 2011-2014 Mashery, Inc. I/O Docs is a live interactive documentation system for RESTful web APIs. By defining APIs at the resource, method and parameter levels in a JSON schema, I/O Docs will generate a JavaScript client interface. API calls can be executed from this interface, which are then proxied through the I/O Docs server with payload data cleanly formatted (pretty-printed if JSON or XML). Basic HTML text tags are enabled in the JSON schema.

apitizer - API mocking for the client side JavaScript applications

  •    Javascript

APItizer is a library that allows you to mock APIs for browser applications with JSON schema. JSON schema is usually used to validate responses from APIs, but APItizer adds the ability to generate data from the same structure. APItizer requires understanding of the JSON schema syntax and I can recommend this guide to get you started.
