lazy-ass - Lazy node assertions without performance penalty

  •        9

Regular assertions evaluate all arguments and concatenate message EVERY time, even if the condition is true. Concatenates strings, stringifies objects, calls functions - only if condition is false.

chai - BDD / TDD assertion framework for node

Chai is a BDD / TDD assertion library for node and the browser that can be delightfully paired with any javascript testing framework. For more information or to download plugins, view the documentation.

yall.js - A fast, flexible, and small image lazy loader!

  •    Javascript

yall.js is a featured-packed lazy loading script for <img>, <picture>, <video> and <iframe> elements. It works in all modern browsers including IE11. It uses Intersection Observer where available, but falls back to scroll, touchmove, resize, and orientationchange events where necessary. It can also monitor the DOM for changes using Mutation Observer to lazy load image elements that have been appended to the DOM after initial page render, which may be desirable for single page applications. It can also (optionally) optimize use of browser idle time using requestIdleCallback. To optimize decoding of <img> lazy loading for simple src and srcset use cases, yall.js uses Image.decode where available to decode images asynchronously before adding them to the DOM.

ng-lazyload-image - Lazy image loader for Angular ≥ v2

  •    TypeScript

The browser you targeting need to have support of WeakMap and String.prototype.includes. If you need to support an older browser (like IE) you will need to include polyfill for WeakMap and String.prototype.includes (see https://github.com/zloirock/core-js for example).

lozad

  •    Javascript

It is written with an aim to lazy load images, iframes, ads, videos or any other element using the recently added Intersection Observer API with tremendous performance benefits. Existing lazy loading libraries hook up to the scroll event or use a periodic timer and call getBoundingClientRect() on elements that need to be lazy loaded. This approach, however, is painfully slow as each call to getBoundingClientRect() forces the browser to re-layout the entire page and will introduce considerable jank to your website.

streamjs - Lazy Object Streaming Pipeline for JavaScript

  •    Javascript

Stream.js is a lightweight (2.6 KB minified, gzipped), intensely tested (700+ assertions, 97% coverage) functional programming library for operating upon collections of in-memory data. It requires EcmaScript 5+, has built-in support for ES6 features and works in all current browsers, Node.js and Java 8 Nashorn. Before explaining how Stream.js works in detail, here's a few real world code samples.

chai-jquery - jQuery assertions for chai

  •    Javascript

chai-jquery is an extension to the chai assertion library that provides a set of jQuery-specific assertions. Note that jquery.js and chai.js can be inserted one before another (order does not matter here).

fishhook - A library that enables dynamically rebinding symbols in Mach-O binaries running on iOS.

  •    C

fishhook is a very simple library that enables dynamically rebinding symbols in Mach-O binaries running on iOS in the simulator and on device. This provides functionality that is similar to using DYLD_INTERPOSE on OS X. At Facebook, we've found it useful as a way to hook calls in libSystem for debugging/tracing purposes (for example, auditing for double-close issues with file descriptors).dyld binds lazy and non-lazy symbols by updating pointers in particular sections of the __DATA segment of a Mach-O binary. fishhook re-binds these symbols by determining the locations to update for each of the symbol names passed to rebind_symbols and then writing out the corresponding replacements.

sinon-chai - Extends Chai with assertions for the Sinon.JS mocking framework.

  •    Javascript

Sinon–Chai provides a set of custom assertions for using the Sinon.JS spy, stub, and mocking framework with the Chai assertion library. You get all the benefits of Chai with all the powerful tools of Sinon.JS. All of your favorite Sinon.JS assertions made their way into Sinon–Chai. We show the should syntax here; the expect equivalent is also available.

A zookeeper web administrator in node.js. It's based on express.js and node-zookeeper.It will display zookeeper's data as a lazy loading tree, and display every path's stat info and data;and you can create, edit or delete path if you logon. You must install node.js 0.8.x from https://github.com/joyent/node/tags and npm.

Immutable-js - Immutable persistent data collections for Javascript which increase efficiency and simplicity

  •    Javascript

Immutable data cannot be changed once created, leading to much simpler application development, no defensive copying, and enabling advanced memoization and change detection techniques with simple logic. Persistent data presents a mutative API which does not update the data in-place, but instead always yields new updated data.

Javascript Assertion Unit

  •    Javascript

jsAssertUnit is a unit testing framework based on assertions, helping JavaScript developers to test their code. Failing assertions about the program state are tracked in a Reporter window of a DOM compliant browser : IE5+, Mozilla, Netscape 6+, etc.

LazyCache - An easy to use thread safe generics based in memory caching service with a simple developer friendly API for c#

  •    CSharp

Lazy cache is a simple in-memory caching service. It has a developer friendly generics based API, and provides a thread safe cache implementation that guarantees to only execute your cachable delegates once (it's lazy!). Under the hood it leverages Microsoft.Extensions.Caching and Lazy to provide performance and reliability in heavy load scenarios. As you can see the magic happens in the GetOrAdd() method which gives the consumer an atomic and tidy way to add caching to your code. It leverages a factory delegate Func and generics to make it easy to add cached method calls to your app.

blazy - Hey, be lazy! bLazy

  •    Javascript

bLazy is a lightweight script for lazy loading and multi-serving images, iframes, videos and more (less than 1.4KB minified and gzipped). It’s written in pure JavaScript why it doesn’t depend on 3rd-party libraries such as jQuery. It lets you lazy load and multi-serve your images so you can save bandwidth and server requests. The user will have faster load times and save data usage if he/she doesn't browse the whole page. If you don't want to host the script yourself you can link to the latest minified file: //cdn.jsdelivr.net/blazy/latest/blazy.min.js on jsDelivr. Exchange latest with the specific version number if you want to lock it in.

critters - 🦔 A Webpack plugin to inline your critical CSS and lazy-load the rest.

  •    Javascript

Critters is a Webpack plugin that inlines your app's critical CSS and lazy-loads the rest. It's a little different from other options, because it doesn't use a headless browser to render content. This tradeoff allows Critters to be very fast and lightweight. It also means Critters inlines all CSS rules used by your document, rather than only those needed for above-the-fold content. For alternatives, see Similar Libraries.

pbf - A low-level, lightweight protocol buffers implementation in JavaScript.

  •    Javascript

A low-level, fast, ultra-lightweight (3KB gzipped) JavaScript library for decoding and encoding protocol buffers, a compact binary format for structured data serialization. Works both in Node and the browser. Supports lazy decoding and detailed customization of the reading/writing code.If you use webpack as your module bundler, you can use pbf-loader to load .proto files directly. It returns a compiled module ready to be used.
