Source code for QGroundControl is kept on GitHub: https://github.com/mavlink/qgroundcontrol. Each time you pull new source to your repository you should run git submodule update to get the latest submodules as well. Since QGroundControl uses submodules, using the zip file for source download will not work. You must use git.

AirSim - Open source simulator based on Unreal Engine for autonomous vehicles from Microsoft AI & Research

AirSim is a simulator for drones (and soon other vehicles) built on Unreal Engine. It is open-source, cross platform and supports hardware-in-loop with popular flight controllers such as PX4 for physically and visually realistic simulations. It is developed as an Unreal plugin that can simply be dropped in to any Unreal environment you want.

CARLA is an open-source simulator for autonomous driving research. CARLA has been developed from the ground up to support development, training, and validation of autonomous urban driving systems. In addition to open-source code and protocols, CARLA provides open digital assets (urban layouts, buildings, vehicles) that were created for this purpose and can be used freely. The simulation platform supports flexible specification of sensor suites and environmental conditions. autopilot is a command and control system for helicopters (and can be extended for fixed wing aircraft). It provides a three-axis EFIS and moving map on the ground station. The unmanned aerial robot has instrumentation for attitude, engine and position.

AeroQuad - AeroQuad Flight Software

The Aeroquad 32 bit boards are supported by other more active flight softwares like dRonin (http://dronin.org/). Additionally fixed incorrect sensor orientation for v1.7 Shield with Duemilanove, and Wii for Duemilanove and Mega, and APM with APM sensor shield. Added #defines for Wii for Mega. Solved DCM overflow issues for APM when performing calibration or writing to EEPROM. Flight tested ArduCopter hardware, v2.0 Shield with Mega, v1.8 Shield with Duemilanove, v1.7 Shield with Duemilanove, v1.8 Shield using Wii sensors with Duemilanove. Updated default PID values for v2.0 shield using 30.5cm motor to motor configuration at 1.2kg.

apm - Atom Package Manager

You can configure apm by using the apm config command line option (recommended) or by manually editing the ~/.atom/.apmrc file as per the npm config.apm bundles npm with it and spawns npm processes to install Atom packages. The major difference is that apm sets multiple command line arguments to npm to ensure that native modules are built against Chromium's v8 headers instead of node's v8 headers.
