SwiftNIO is a cross-platform asynchronous event-driven network application framework for rapid development of maintainable high performance protocol servers & clients. It's like Netty, but written for Swift.

wolfssl - (formerly CyaSSL) is a small, fast, portable implementation of TLS/SSL for embedded devices to the cloud

  •    C

The wolfSSL embedded SSL library (formerly CyaSSL) is a lightweight SSL/TLS library written in ANSI C and targeted for embedded, RTOS, and resource-constrained environments - primarily because of its small size, speed, and feature set. It is commonly used in standard operating environments as well because of its royalty-free pricing and excellent cross platform support.

cipherscan - A very simple way to find out which SSL ciphersuites are supported by a target.

  •    Python

Cipherscan tests the ordering of the SSL/TLS ciphers on a given target, for all major versions of SSL and TLS. It also extracts some certificates informations, TLS options, OCSP stapling and more. Cipherscan is a wrapper above the openssl s_client command line.Cipherscan is meant to run on all flavors of unix. It ships with its own built of OpenSSL for Linux/64 and Darwin/64. On other platform, it will use the openssl version provided by the operating system (which may have limited ciphers support), or your own version provided in the -o command line flag.

smoke-framework - A light-weight server-side service framework written in the Swift programming language

  •    Swift

The Smoke Framework is a light-weight server-side service framework written in Swift and using SwiftNIO for its networking layer by default. The framework can be used for REST-like or RPC-like services and in conjunction with code generators from service models such as Swagger/OpenAPI. The framework has built in support for JSON-encoded request and response payloads.

Boringssl - Fork of OpenSSL that is designed to meet Google's needs

  •    C

BoringSSL is a fork of OpenSSL that is designed to meet Google's needs. BoringSSL arose because Google used OpenSSL for many years in various ways and, over time, built up a large number of patches that were maintained while tracking upstream OpenSSL. As Google's product portfolio became more complex, more copies of OpenSSL sprung up and the effort involved in maintaining all these patches in multiple places was growing steadily.

  •    Java

Apache ActiveMQ is the most popular and powerful open source messaging and Integration Patterns provider. Apache ActiveMQ is fast, supports many Cross Language Clients and Protocols, comes with easy to use Enterprise Integration Patterns and many advanced features while fully supporting JMS 1.1 and J2EE 1.4.

SwiftServerSide-Vapor - 🦄 Swift server open source projects based on the Swift 4

  •    Swift

This is a Swift Server Side open source project built on the Swift 4.1 and Vapor 3 frameworks. Because of apple’s release of the cool event-driven non-blocking network framework SwiftNIO, Vapor 3 introduced it at a blazing pace, leading to Vapor 2 and Vapor 3. The grammar is very different. For me personally, it looks like the difference between Swift 2 -> Swift 3 is awkward. So I used Vapor 3 to rewrite part of the interface and open it for reference and communication with interested partners. Currently listed in the document API has been deployed in a formal environment application, and will continue to be perfected as needed.

testssl.sh - Testing TLS/SSL encryption anywhere on any port

  •    Shell

testssl.sh is a free command line tool which checks a server's service on any port for the support of TLS/SSL ciphers, protocols as well as some cryptographic flaws. Or help yourself downloading the ZIP archive https://github.com/drwetter/testssl.sh/archive/2.9dev.zip. testssl.sh --help will give you some help upfront. More help: see doc directory with man pages. Older sample runs are at https://testssl.sh/.

HiBeacons - An iBeacons example app for iOS 10, with Apple Watch (watchOS 3

  •    Swift

HiBeacons is a fully functional demo app for the iBeacons API in iOS 10, updated for Swift 3. The app can be used to demonstrate beacon region monitoring, advertising and ranging, simply by toggling on/off three switches in the UI, or the accompanying Apple Watch app. The apps implement a basic interface for starting all the operations from the iPhone and the Apple Watch, but the state of the various beacon operation can only be seen in the phone. (The watch app acts as a simple* remote).

Swift-AI - The Swift machine learning library.

  •    Swift

Swift AI is a high-performance deep learning library written entirely in Swift. We currently offer support for all Apple platforms, with Linux support coming soon. Each module now contains its own documentation. We recommend that you read the docs carefully for detailed instructions on using the various components of Swift AI.

  •    Swift

Swift is a high-performance system programming language. It has a clean and modern syntax, offers seamless access to existing C and Objective-C code and frameworks, and is memory safe by default. On December 3, 2015, the Swift language, supporting libraries, debugger, and package manager were published under the Apache 2.0 license with a Runtime Library Exception, and Swift.org was created to host the project.

MIHCrypto - OpenSSL wrapper for Objective-C [cryptography]

  •    Objective-C

OpenSSL is the most powerful SSL and TLS library available which wraps a full cryptographic library. The library is written in pure C and due to its endless size and not-so-well-designed C interface it is very hard for beginners to step into it. The aim of the MIHCrypto library is to provide an object-oriented interface which allows developers to write simple and clean code by still using the power of the OpenSSL libCrypto library. OpenSSL is a very large library so (yet) not the whole library is wrapped by MIHCrypto. Since I am developing the library because personal needs focus of the functionallity is on modern cryptographic apporaches, but everybody is welcome to contribute other parts to the library.

opmsg - opmsg message encryption

  •    C++

opmsg is a replacement for gpg which can encrypt/sign/verify your mails or create/verify detached signatures of local files. Even though the opmsg output looks similar, the concept is entirely different. opmsg builds fine with any of the OpenSSL, LibreSSL and BoringSSL libcrypto libraries. Building against BoringSSL is not recommended due to missing blowfish and ripemd algorithms.
