KTechlab

KTechlab is an IDE for microcontrollers and electronics.

mbed - Tool for Rapid Prototyping with Microcontrollers

The mbed Software Development Kit (SDK) is a C/C++ microcontroller software to write code for ARM microcontrollers. It provides enough hardware abstraction to be intuitive and concise, but powerful enough to build complex projects. It includes all the base level startup code, C runtime and library pre-integrated and tested for the target microcontrollers, and high-level MCU peripheral APIs that allow you to drive the peripherals of the microcontrollers without going near a datasheet.

gputils

gputils is a collection of tools for Microchip PIC microcontrollers. Its goal is to be fully compatible with Microchip's tools, MPASM, MPLINK, and MPLIB.

uCLinux - Embedded Linux

The original uClinux (you-see-linux) was a derivative of Linux 2.0 kernel intended for microcontrollers without Memory Management Units (MMUs). However, the Linux/Microcontroller Project has grown both in brand recognition and coverage of processor architectures. Today's uClinux as an operating system includes Linux kernel releases for 2.0 2.4 and 2.6 as well as a collection of user applications, libraries and tool chains. uClinux is mostly used in Embedded and Gaming device.

avrdude-gui

avrdude-gui is a simple GUI for avrdude (http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/avrdude) which is a command line tool running on several OS to program the Atmel AVR Microcontrollers.

Great Cow BASIC

Great Cow BASIC is an open-source BASIC compiler for 8 bit Microchip PIC and Atmel AVR microcontrollers. Also included in the project is Great Cow Graphical BASIC, an icon based editor for GCBASIC programs.

gpsim - The gnupic Simulator

gpsim is an open sourced simulator for Microchip's PIC microcontrollers. It supports all three families of PICs: 12-bit, 14-bit, and 16-bit cores. See also gputils http://gputils.sourceforge.net/

amforth: Interpreter for AVR ATmega

amforth is an extendible command interpreter running on AVR ATmega microcontrollers. Turnkey actions for fully autonomous operations are available as well. The command language is close to the ANS94 Forth standard with forth200x extensions.

USB-IR-Boy

USB-IR-Boy is an LIRC compatible home brew USB Infrared (IR) receiver based on the Motorola (Freescale) MC68HC908 microcontroller. The project includes electronic schematics, MCU code, and a lircd compatible kernel module.
