Twitterizer - .NET Twitter Interface
New WebsitePlease visit our website, http://www.twitterizer.net Are you getting a lot of HTTP 401 error codes? Do your updates say "via Twitterizer"? That means you've been using Twitterizer Version 1 which uses BASIC authentication. BASIC Authentication has been scheduled for removal from Twitter for months. During the month of August, the hourly limit on the number of updates that is allowable from applications using BASIC authentication is to be lowered every day. On August 31, BASIC authentication will no longer function AT ALL. Twitterizer2 began development in May of this year to support OAuth, the only authentication protocol to be supported after the BASIC auth shutdown. I've done everything I could think to get the word out without violating Twitter's usage policy (I actually got a warning sending out too many notifications). Head over here for more information.

Socialauth provides support to authenticate users through external oAuth providers like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare, MySpace, Salesforce, Yammer as well as through OpenID providers like myopenid.com. It could be easily integrated.
Linq2Twitter is an open source LINQ Provider for the Twitter micro-blogging service. It covers the entire Twitter API and supports multiple .NET technologies.
A Ruby interface to the Twitter API.
Memcached is high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load. Memcached is an in-memory key-value store for small chunks of arbitrary data (strings, objects) from results of database calls, API calls, or page rendering.
HBase provides support to handle BigTable - billions of rows X millions of columns. It is a scalable, distributed, versioned, column-oriented store modeled after Google's Bigtable and runs on top of HDFS (Hadoop Distributed Filesystem). It features compression, in-memory operation per-column. Data could be replicated between the nodes. HBase is used in Facebook and Twitter.
ANTLR (ANother Tool for Language Recognition) is a powerful parser generator for reading, processing, executing, or translating structured text or binary files. It's widely used to build languages, tools, and frameworks. From a grammar, ANTLR generates a parser that can build and walk parse trees. Twitter search uses ANTLR for query parsing, with over 2 billion queries a day.
The first PHP Library to support OAuth for Twitter's REST API
Twitter4J is an open-sourced, mavenized and Google App Engine safe Java library for the Twitter API which is released under the Apache License 2.0.
The Apache Cassandra Project develops a highly scalable second-generation distributed database, bringing together Dynamo's fully distributed design and Bigtable's ColumnFamily-based data model. Cassandra is suitable for applications that can't afford to lose data. Data is automatically replicated to multiple nodes for fault-tolerance.
