OCR in .NET. Puma.NET is a wrapper library for Cognitive Technologies CuneiFrom recognition engine that makes it easy to incorporate OCR functionality in any .NET Framework 2.0 (or higher) application. The API is provided through a number of simple classes.

Provides optical character recognition (OCR) solutions for Vietnamese language.


The Tesseract OCR engine was one of the top 3 engines in the 1995 UNLV Accuracy test. Between 1995 and 2006 it had little work done on it, but it is probably one of the most accurate open source OCR engines available. The source code will read a binary, grey or color image and output text. A tiff reader is built in that will read uncompressed TIFF images, or libtiff can be added to read compressed images.


GOCR is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program, developed under the GNU Public License. It converts scanned images of text back to text files. Joerg Schulenburg started the program, and now leads a team of developers.


A ruby web server built for concurrency


Computational electromagnetics software. Uses surface Method of Moments, enhanced by using the Multilevel Fast Multipole Method. Code is parallelized and runs on laptops, desktops and clusters. The code precision is adjustable, it is fast and uses little memory. CFIE is used for closed surfaces, and EFIE for open PEC surfaces. Can function on GMSH, GiD and ANSYS meshes.


Artificial vision library. Objectives are to make an OCR, fingerprint and face identification as some applications through a general purpose learning and pattern relationships algorithm (Currently performs very basic identification).
