This is an attempt to port Neo4J to .Net. "Neo4j is a graph database. It is an embedded, disk-based, fully transactional Java persistence engine that stores data structured in graphs rather than in tables.”
SocNet is a tool chain for collecting and analyzing data from Hackystat and various social networking venues in order to study the relationships between one's social network and one's programming practices. SocNet aims to measure the effects of certain intangibles on coding practices. Environment, philosophies, hobbies, these are things that can't be directly measured, but that have an impact on work; it is those hidden variables that SocNet seeks to quantify. Data collected from Hackystat, "an
This framework is intended to determine the ability of various graph databases to load a large volume of linked data. The test data is all of English Wikipedia's article link data e.g. 130 million records of the form: Communism->Russia Example databases currently supported include Neo4j (via it's batch loading API) and OrientDB. The test code also includes alternative index services that can maintain a growing index to look up a key (e.g. "Russia") and find any previously inserted Vertex id. The
Pubcrawl is an application that combines literature based semantic distances with protein domain interactions to dynamically create network topologies of terms. Often network topologies of gene names created thru pubcrawl resemble known biological pathways and can be used to characterize lesser known associations and identify novel data driven findings for further investigation. Pubcrawl is being developed at the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle, WA. Medline document titles and abstracts
