KTechlab is an IDE for microcontrollers and electronics.
The mbed Software Development Kit (SDK) is a C/C++ microcontroller software to write code for ARM microcontrollers. It provides enough hardware abstraction to be intuitive and concise, but powerful enough to build complex projects. It includes all the base level startup code, C runtime and library pre-integrated and tested for the target microcontrollers, and high-level MCU peripheral APIs that allow you to drive the peripherals of the microcontrollers without going near a datasheet.
digiKam is an advanced digital photo management application for KDE, which makes importing and organizing digital photos a snap. The photos can be organized in albums which can be sorted chronologically, by directory layout or by custom collections. It provides support to add tag, comment to your images.
GPS Manager (GPSMan) is a graphical manager of GPS data that makes possible the preparation, inspection and edition of GPS data in a friendly environment. GPSMan can also be used in command mode (with no graphical interface)
gputils is a collection of tools for Microchip PIC microcontrollers. Its goal is to be fully compatible with Microchip's tools, MPASM, MPLINK, and MPLIB.
OpenGTS (Open Source GPS Tracking System) is a full featured web-based GPS tracking system for your fleet of vehicles. It supports OpenLayers and other map providers, detail/summary Reporting, and various GPS tracking devices.
Analyze and visualize tours in many variations, which are recorded with a GPS device, bike-, exercise- or ergometer-computer. Some highlights: Tools are available to adjust recorded data, GPS tours can be visualized in customizable maps, ...
Viking is a free/open source program to manage GPS data. You can import, plot and create tracks, routes and waypoints, show OSM, Terraserver, Bing Aerial and other maps, geotag images, see real-time GPS position, get geocaches, control items, etc. It is written in C amp; the GTK+2 toolkit.
The original uClinux (you-see-linux) was a derivative of Linux 2.0 kernel intended for microcontrollers without Memory Management Units (MMUs). However, the Linux/Microcontroller Project has grown both in brand recognition and coverage of processor architectures. Today's uClinux as an operating system includes Linux kernel releases for 2.0 2.4 and 2.6 as well as a collection of user applications, libraries and tool chains. uClinux is mostly used in Embedded and Gaming device.
avrdude-gui is a simple GUI for avrdude (http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/avrdude) which is a command line tool running on several OS to program the Atmel AVR Microcontrollers.
