This summarization system, crafted for the Text Analysis Conference (TAC) evaluation campaign, generates summaries by extracting sentences that contain the most frequent word bigrams (called concepts) from the input documents. It uses Integer Linear Programming (ILP) for determining, under a length constraint that set of sentences. This is an C++ implementation of my PhD research program, which uses the boosting algorithm to construct predictive classifiers from a pool of logic clauses generated by an Inductive Logic Programming (ILP) system, WeakILP. The program includes an incomplete implementation of Prolog, and an in-line syntax parsing library, an extension to STL, and a version of AdaBoost.
Zendo is an inductive logic game, where players try to guess the master's rule for classifying koans. In this version, we are playing Word Zendo, and our goal is to allow for AI to operate with our program to learn how to play Zendo.
