The project is concerned with the comparison of the results of two mapping methods between the Human Phenotype Ontology (HP) and the Mammalian Phenotype Ontology (MP). One method uses a lexical matching (LmM) on concept names and was suggested in Sardana et al.. The other method relies on the formal definitions provided for both ontologies (FdM).
