OpenReports - Powerful Reporting Solution

OpenReports supports a variety of open source reporting engines, including JasperReports, JFreeReport, JXLS, and Eclipse BIRT, to provide support for a wide range of reporting requirements and capabilities. OpenReports also includes QueryReports and ChartReports, easy to create SQL based reports that do not require a predefined report definition. OpenReports also supports OLAP via Mondrian and JPivot.

Eclipse SQL Explorer - SQL client

Eclipse SQL Explorer is a thin SQL client that allows you to query and browse any JDBC compliant database. It supports plugins with specialized functionality for individual databases (Oracle, DB2 and MySQL) and can be extended to include specialized support for other databases. It is available as standalone client as well as Eclipse plugin.

EclEmma - Java Code Coverage for Eclipse

EclEmma is a free Java code coverage tool for Eclipse, available under the Eclipse Public License. It brings code coverage analysis directly into the Eclipse workbench. The EclEmma project is also the home of the JaCoCo code coverage library which is the technical back-end for EclEmma and also has integrations with many other build and software quality tools.


UCDetector (Unnecessary Code Detector) is a Open Source Eclipse Plugin Tool. UCDetector finds unnecessary (dead) public Java code. It suggests to make code final, protected or private.

SWTChart - light weight chart component

SWTChart is based on Eclipse SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit). All of widgets in SWTChart are composed of SWT, so that you can easily hock listeners to widgets, and also you can easily extend the functionality. It has an ability to handle large data size of series.


Taylor MDA is a specialized UML modeling tool based on Eclipse. It uses convention-based techniques to generate the maximum code from streamlined UML models. Templates are included for generating JEE applications based on JPA/EJB3 and JSF/Seam/Facelets.
