Ray: scalable assembly

  •        0

de novo genome assembly is now a challenge because of the overwhelming amount of data produced by sequencers. Ray assembles reads obtained with new sequencing technologies (Illumina, 454, SOLiD) using MPI 2.2 -- a message passing inferface standard.

This project hosts a collection of tools I built to work with next generation sequencing data. They are primarily written in Python, and testing on a linux machine, however the portability of python should mean that they work on other platforms.
