Dali - Java Persistence Tools from Eclipse

  •        0

The Dali Java Persistence Tools Project, a sub-project of the Web Tools Platform Project , provides extensible frameworks and tools for the definition and editing of Object-Relational (O/R) mappings for Java Persistence API (JPA) entities. JPA mapping support focuses on minimizing the complexity of mapping by providing entity generation wizards, design-time validation, and a rich UI for entity and persistence unit configuration.

Doctrine ORM - Object relational mapper for PHP

Object relational mapper (ORM) for PHP that sits on top of a powerful database abstraction layer (DBAL). One of its key features is the option to write database queries in a proprietary object oriented SQL dialect called Doctrine Query Language (DQL), inspired by Hibernates HQL. This provides developers with a powerful alternative to SQL that maintains flexibility without requiring unnecessary code duplication.

NHibernate - object-relational mapper for .NET

NHibernate is a mature, open source object-relational mapper for the .NET framework. NHibernate is a port of Hibernate Core for Java to the .NET Framework. It handles persisting plain .NET objects to and from an underlying relational database.

Quartz.NET is a full-featured, open source job scheduling system that can be used from smallest apps to large scale enterprise systems. It is a port of very propular open source Java job scheduling framework, Quartz.

Live Graph - Plot and explore your data in real-time

LiveGraph is a framework for real-time data visualisation, analysis and logging. It has a real time plotter that can automatically update graphs of your data while it is still being computed by your application. LiveGraph reads files in a simple CSV-style format. For applications developed in Java, LiveGraph additionally provides an API that handles all data logging and persistency issues.

HyperGraphDB - Database for Storing Strongly-Typed Hypergraphs

HyperGraphDB is a general purpose, open-source data storage mechanism based on a powerful knowledge management formalism known as directed hypergraphs. While a persistent memory model designed mostly for Knowledge management, Artificial Intelligence and Semantic web projects, it can also be used as an embedded object-oriented database for Java projects of all sizes. It could also be used as graph database or as (non-SQL) relational database.

Ehcache is an open source, standards-based cache used to boost performance, offload the database and simplify scalability. Ehcache is robust, proven and full-featured and this has made it the most widely-used Java-based cache.

DataNucleus provides Java data persistence and management platform allowing federation of data as well as JDO, JPA and web services interfaces. It supports heterogeneous datastores (RDBMS, MongoDB, LDAP, Excel, XML, NeoDatis, JSON, ODF, BigTable, HBase, Cassandra)

owldb allows for the persistence of OWL-ontologies in relational databases and implements the OWL API (http://owlapi.sourceforge.net/).
