Project to rewrite the 'CPAN.pm' module for perl. It's aim is at a fully functional and OO interface to provide an interface with the CPAN (www.cpan.org). NOTE: We have moved our code depository to a perforce server: http://cpanplus.sourceforge.net
CPANPLUS is an excellent tool for interfacing with the CPAN, but often we want to manage our installed set of packages all though RPM. Fedora, especially, has a large set (900+) of Perl packages. CPANPLUS::Dist::RPM provides a backend dist class that CPANPLUS can use to generate rpm spec files and build rpm packages for from the CPAN. This package aims to provide a "generic" base class (CPANPLUS::Dist::RPM) that can be used to generate rpms which will pretty much "just work" on any rpm-based sys
