PostGIS - Spatial and Geographic objects for PostgreSQL

PostGIS is a spatial database extender for PostgreSQL object-relational database. It adds support for geographic objects allowing location queries to be run in SQL. PostGIS adds extra types (geometry, geography, raster and others) to the PostgreSQL database. It also adds functions, operators, and index enhancements that apply to these spatial types.

NCO netCDF Operators

The netCDF Operators, or NCO, are a suite of file operators which facilitate manipulation and analysis of self-describing data stored in the (freely available) netCDF format. Volunteers welcome! See homepage for details and download links.

Jsonnetcdf - JsonNetCDF, a Java Library, for loading GRIB/GRIB2/NetCDF data and make queries.

JsonNetCDF, a Java Library, for loading GRIB/GRIB2/NetCDF data and make queries. Objective: NetCDF is a format for storing data in multi-dimension array. It is highly compressed and suitable for many cases especially for scientific research. Unfortunately, data in the tables cannot be easily searched and the API is not generally available, so I try to write a small Java library to make queries on it. This library can also read GRIB/GRIB2 data. Please read the wiki pages to get more information.

Ncw-c - NetCDF wrappers for C (and Fortran)

A program can make thousands of calls to NetCDF functions, and it can be very frustrating to get a generic run-time error message about NetCDF stuff and being unable to identify what exactly went wrong. It is also frustrating to handle each possible error in the code. For this reason, in 95+% of my calls to NetCDF functions I use wrappers. They save a lot of time, first during development, and then during tracking run-time errors, and also make the code more readable. ncw provides C and Fortran
