IBM Donates Lotus Symphony Source Code to the Apache OpenOffice Project

IBM has announced that it will be donate IBM Lotus Symphony source code to the Apache OpenOffice project. Symphony was actually based on OpenOffice. Earlier in June Oracle donated the OpenOffice suite to Apache and now IBM donates its office suite. Apache will be the biggest competitor to Microsoft in office suite product.
